Sevu Reece is something special! Crazy speed and offloads.
I loved that Cory Jane like fend from David Havili in the lead-up to Sevu Reece's first try.
Bridge had a good comeback from injury, but still room for improvement. He can be happy with his first 65 minutes after not playing for a month.I listened to the radio commentary and Corey Flynn had some things to say about the scrum haha. For example, the Lions were pulling back a couple of times just when the Crusaders started pushing.
Whitelock was a monster. Awesome.Although Drummond played better than in his first few games, Hall is still miles better.
Punivai had a good debut game. Did well on defence. -

@booboo hahaha you could convert and save all the pain
I lived in Saderland 2000-2003.
I'll take whatever NZ team is most likely to win.
But fuck they're good.

@booboo Chiefs will win tomorrow night that will help with the pain
Not exactly pain But am hoping so.

@Chris said in Crusaders v Lions:
@booboo if the Chiefs win the Blues will be last in the conference a big turn around in 3 weeks
My position is NZ teams 1 2 3 4 & 5.
And i'd really like the Blues not to be last ( this year ... )

Bridge didn't really do anything tonight apart from show pace for some easy run ins.
Reminds you of Doug howlett really doesn’t it

Not a bad comparison actually. Howlett was probably my favourite player at the Blues and I see a lot of similarities in Bridge’s game to him.
They like to swerve with pace rather than step. Both run excellent lines - right place right time guys.
