Its the Masters baby!

playing in 3s tomorrow and starting early due to high probability of storms including tornadoes...
Final group will be Molinari (-13) Woods (-11) & Finau (-11)
2nd to last group, Koepka (-10) Simpson (-9) & Poulter (-9)
with another 5 including Kuchar and DJ on -8 -
All the lead guys playing very average - lots of par saves.
Molinari still in driving seat, tiger 1 behind but I think Finau looks the best bet.
This storm could come In tho and change everything. If one of the earlier guys could get clubhouse at -10 or -11 thst could do it
-
The rain has arrived and with it high drama. Molinari hit the water on the 12th.
Cantlay (who?) and Schauffele on the lead on 12 under. Woods, Koepka and Molinari on 11 under.
Jason Day 10 under through 17 must be happy. Conditions getting very difficult.
-
Jason Day the clubhouse leader on 11 under. The bloke I'd never heard of has two bogeys and falls back. Schauffle, Woods and Molinari the joint leaders on 12 under.
Very tight in dreadful conditions We could be heading for a seven-way playoff in a tornado.

18 months ago he was ranked 1199th in the world and his doctors told him his body was so shot he should give up playing. Tiger proved them all wrong.

Not so long ago, Tiger was somewhere between holy relic, distant ghost and washed-up film star. There are comebacks, there are renaissances and then there are resurrections -
Last round went from tense to boring. Tiger did nothing except not make mistakes while everyone else imploded around him, especially the Italian.
-
@Billy-Tell not sure his 15-16 combo counts as just not making mistakes.
Seriously, he won this just as much, if not more, than others lost it.
-
I'm probably annoyed because
a) I don't like Tiger
b) At one stage, we had 5 players on -12...and no play-off at the end... -

@Billy-Tell dont have like him, but no denying him.
This is huge, huge result.
Plenty of players have wilted on day 4, many times it is just about making pars while other dont.
Tiger hype has been building for a while now...are we at Peak Tiger?
