He hasn't come out and generated a compelling strike rate in any of his turns opening - in part, because they've kept giving Munro turns, so Nicholls hasn't been given a decent run. Whereas, before Latham got asked to open and keep he was doing a good job opening.

Right now, we've got a bunch of guys who are undercooked - I say pick one of the few guys who's showing some form.

For me the question is more who opens - Latham or Nicholls, rather than if Blundell plays. Though I'm prepared to concede that the selectors might see this differently. But, I haven't been impressed with our selectors or administrators in 2019.

Nicholls should be at 5 if he isn't opening. That's what we should be doing anyway.

True but this outfield is very fast and boundaries aren't that big.
