NFL 2019

@mariner4life I was more concerned that I wouldn't be able to wear the t shirt I bought for the game I'm going to in October, or if I did I might get beaten up.

NFC is looking crazy competitive. Just hoping Jimmy G can get through a full season.
AFC is looking like a 2 horse race between Pats and Chiefs. Browns and Texans should be fun to watch though.
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
also: I don't disagree

you mean shot, it's Texas

as a long term steeler fan, I'm just giggling here - that 3rd and 5th round pick they got for Mr Big Chest looks way better now even with the 21 mill salary cap hit they took. As for the AFC North - The Browns may take a while to embed Freddie Kitchen's system , and there's so little noise coming from Pittsburgh that they're almost under the radar - if there's one opportunity to take a game from the pats at all, it's this first round match up - Belichick will be prepared asf for the game but his team may not have embedded the game plan as efficiently yet
-
Yeah I'm big on the Steelers this year too. Have a multi of the Steelers and Pats to win their divisions at $3, which I think is overs.
This Bears/Packers game is pretty stodgy, both offences are really battling. Rogers looks like he'll just get Green Bay over the line though, which will be big for them.
-
Well that was a good old fashion snooze fest. Packers win 10-3 over Da Bears.

@Sneakdefreak you've changed. I miss the annual "niners will make the Championship game at least"
Stoked it's back! Even though Denver look to be treadmilling this year.
Fucking Brady and the fucking Patriots will probably win, because they are the Melbourne Storm, BUT, it appears they may not have a cakewalk of a division this year, because, just maybe, whisper it, the Jets won't stink.
I would like the Chiefs to be as ridiculously offensive-sided as last year and win it that way.
Oh, the 49ers will be there.....just a bit of reverse psychology in play.
-
the rushing yards stats are ridiculous. 93 yards total for the game.

Jets are a chance of a wild card if Sam Darnold takes another step. The problem is that ourccorners are woeful and we're almost as bad at edge. No pressure on the passer and poor coverage is a recipe for disaster. But just quietly this offence might be good enough to out score the opposition.
Le'Veon Bell should dominate opposition defensive scheming giving Darnold a chance to beat teams in the air. Bell and Montgomery are two of the best pass catching backs in the league. Anderson is a top 5 deep threat and has shown development as a route runner. Herndon is a match up nightmare and could just end up being the best playmaker on offense, and Enunwa and Crowder are both among the top tier of WR 2s in the league. If Gase is as good an offensive mind as his reputation says them this offence will be a nightmare to cover.

AB is a clown. I knew he was an idiot, but I didn't think he'd go this far.
This is pretty funny though.:smiling_face_with_open_mouth_cold_sweat:
The Raiders are desperate for results, but I can see them giving up on him. It's just non-stop drama with him.
Didn't realise the Madden Curse had the power to make you go insane. Really shows the culture issue in Pittsburgh might have been a case of a bad egg (two if you want to count Bell).

Leveon Bell was purely about business as he didn't want to be franchised again for another year - mind you he left 14 million on the table anyway by staying out the entire season - and in the end he got his multi-year contract with guarantees although he'll never make up that 14 million

So apparently Antonio Brown will play in week 1 after "apologising" to teammates. He's now posted this on youtube:
