Black Caps v India

Terrible shot, but worth a review.
-
geezus that round arm Indian bowler just doesn't seem right.
How long before ICC mandates the arm must be no more than 30deg to the vertical -

@No-Quarter like to see that review, that seemed outside off or is it down leg, Munro changed stance
-
Ridiculous end to Munro's innings, absolutely no need to go for a reverse sweep slog, the partnership was building nicely. Don't think he has the temperament for anything other than T20s at this level.
-
Latham is fresh off a domestic T20 ton so has a bit of form. He and Rosco need to take us beyond the 35 over mark if we want to have a chance here.

Was thinking the exact same thing. Need a big partnership out of these two or we’re pretty much screwed.
@Mokey I can’t see them making a change this close to the WC...
What are our other options?
Use Latham there, push Nicholls up to 5 and play an extra all rounder?
Worker?

I don't know about that. We still have Nicholls, CDG and Bracewell to come after these two. Any of those 5 batsmen are capable of making big scores.

????CdG? he would find it difficult to be any worse than Munro.

oh thats completely bullshit
lights going off aren't out. his toe would've been down. and what the fuck happened to benefit of the doubt not a single person in the world can 100% say thats out -
@westcoastie yeah that was too sketchy because of the definition of removing bails.
Such a miniscule lift, you can't say one way or the other what happens when bail removed. Not out in days of no technology
I've noticed the cue is now the lights and not the bails

My understanding is that the wickets will not flash unless both ends of the bail are dislodged. It lights up pretty much immediately so definitely benefits the bowling team more.

We need to get a lot closer before CdG and Bracewell come in or we're asking far too much of our lower order. But fair call re: Nicholls, we need a decent partnership here.
