Did our best to fucking murder any chance we had to win with some shit discipline and poor decision making on the carry. I reckon of our dozen handling errors or more, at least half were in Wales' 22.
The starting 9 is crippling anything resembling an attack from 10 outwards.
Just lucky that Wales had no ball, and threw away what they did.
Wales panicked and didn't play the grind, like they should have. Was their only chance
We whacked their scrum tho and they didn't get their maul going. They should have made hay in the first half with the wind.

Predicted quarters: (
NZ vAUSWAL
ENG v USA
CAN vWALAUS
FRA v ITAItaly not getting away from Japan at the moment but so far that looks like the quarters. A japan upset could shift AUS and ITA around.
NZ will be playing Wales though and that's a good thing. After Wales went away from their strengths against Abs that won't do the same again so it will be a test to see how our (hopefully) best pack handles a strong scrum and maul.
We will likely have three NH teams in a row if we make the final.
France look to have an excellent defence but we having really seen it tested. England just continually bashed against them of shuffled the ball wide and France did the same to England in return. The semi will be the true marker of whether relentless attack and offloading will beat the NH way.
This is great. It is like early pro mens game when the ABs would run around the 10 man styles. -
Just got in from watching the Womens RWC games at Waitakere Stadium , first game Italy v Japan was a tough watch but the 2nd game between Canada and the USA was a good contest with Canada prevailing 29-14
The Canadians were quick with their ruck ball getting some superb late offloads to punch holes through the middle .
Was impressed with centre Canadian centre Alysha Corrigan , looks a classy player with pace and vision .Watched half of the England v South Africa game before calling it quits
England far too good up front watching them from close up as they walked out before kick off , they are bloody huge across the board and from what I was told it’s their 2nd string team they rolled out .
It’s a shame South Africa did’nt get more ball in the hands of fullback Elliose Webb and winger Nadine Roos as they both look super quickOverall a great day , plenty of Families and heaps of kids having fun

England impressive but boring as fuck
All the best moments and creativity came through the hands of the English 12

It's a try being scored by England. From halfway. That's a long way for those sweet, gentle, weak women right? Might as well call it end to end.

England coach is getting a bit testy about press comments (from home) that his team are very one dimensional.
Although I doubt they will care that much and will focus on their strengths any mind games sneaking in will be fun.
He is delusional if he thinks that the only reason England were ineffective on attack against France is because France have a good defence. England had no vision (or at least didn't show it)
He is now saying they are keeping their powder dry and will unleash in the knockouts.
They have basically bullied their way against Fiji and SA and almost appeared scared of SA until they got some chances to kick and maul and put a big points buffer on.
I can see them maybe trying a different tack in the quarters but will revert to type against Canada.
I'm not criticising them for doing what they do so well, just laughing at how they are getting a bit defensive about it.
'Oh, you can score off lineout drives. What else can you do?' -
They're popping into the school on Friday, bugger that I just started a new job last week!

NZ v Wales quarter clashes with the ABs v Japan.
I guess that the RWC draw was done way before the ABs confirmed their game. BFs were always sceduled as host to have their quarter in that slot, at that ground wherever they finished after pools.
I think I will have to decide which one to watch live as flicking between Sky and Spark is bound to be a pain.

AB B's vs Japan is a bit less of a must watch.
ABs game starts half an hour before BFs anyway. so It will work.
I can understand why watching BFs v Wales again might be painful for you though -

This clash does seem a needless own goal when we are hosting the RWC.
More brilliant work by Mark Robinson and his gang....
Both games will be on Stan in Aus so will fire up the laptop and tv at the same time.
