@Higgins Not many! What's left is probably NPC third-stringers and recent school leavers from provincial academy squads, some of whom will appear in the Super Rugby U20 comp!
Anyone know who's in the Canes WTG? I'm assuming guys like Siale Lauaki, Harry Godfrey, Raymond Tuputupu who performed well for the Hurricanes Under 20s.

I have not known too much about some of the "trumpeted" signings announced so some of the guys signing for the MLR are not exactly household name NPC starters anyway.

Announced about a week ago:
Alex Fidow has signed with Souths Logan Magpies. Because I don't know anything about league below NRL level, I had to look that up. It's a club based in the south of Brisbane that plays in the Queensland Cup. Is that a feeder comp for the NRL? Any connection with the Broncos? Are they fully professional?
slmagpies ⚪️⚫️EXCITING NEWS⚫️⚪️
Alex Fidow has signed with the Souths Logan Magpies for 2023!
Former Junior All Black and current Wellington Hurricanes Super Rugby prop Alex Fidow is joining the Magpies in 2023!!
The 25 year old is looking to make the transition from rugby and sees the opportunity to work with dual international Magpies Coach Karmichael Hunt as the perfect opportunity.
We look forward to watching this damaging ball runner wear the famous Black & White, he will definitely become a cult hero amongst our supporters in 2023. -
@Stargazer talking to a source at North Harbour , one of their poorest ever signings ever they were glad to see the back of Fidow.
-
@Steven-Harris I was surprised at how small he was when he was up here this year, can see why people were suggesting he should play hooker, but even then he'd be smaller than many 1st 15 hookers...guess he could still pack a punch though

Why? Playing issue, attitude or something else?

Pita Gus Sowakula should join french club Clermont in the second part of 2023.

That's still in the rumour stage. Nothing confirmed by Clermont, yet.
Kind of shows his commitment to the All Blacks and vice versa.
Definitely in the vice-versa camp.
It annoys me when the ABs don’t do their homework before selecting. players like PGS and Kirifi to name a couple have been stiffed.
Would like to see him play for Fiji but he’ll have to wait now -

If he was Peter Gus Smith we probably wouldn't even be having this discussion. We'd just be talking about how he was tried and failed. TTT was tried and discarded after 3 matches but we don't consider him stiffed do we?
