NPC Final - Auckland vs Canterbury (free entry)
-
Hopefully AKL will calm down now they're on the board and the game will improve
-
Abel and Ruru having a hard time.
-
Adams under a lot of pressure.
-
Auckland needs to fix their line-out and scrum. They're being utterly dominated.

Auckland had that coming. Penalty try; yellow card for Akira. Stupid.
@rapido Really?
That was so blatantly in the side, utterly awful.
So such thing as blatantly in the side of a rolling maul. Because they are rolling.
-
Canterbury completely dominating the Auckland Pack. Great crowd, excellent atmosphere they will be happy with the turnout to watch the Finals.
-
Not much to say really. Getting destroyed.
Auckland lucky not to be trailing by more.
Cant say i see much in Cameron. Even behind a dominant pack looks average.
Faiane very good. Trainor sneaky good.
She's a long way back now.
-
Harmon off with a yellow for a tip tackle.
-
@stargazer I'm glad we didn't get 100x replays on the big screen.
-
Got to get points in those situations.
-
Good work from Jackson to reward the dominant scrum with the penalty. I have seen those go the other way.
-
Great play Ioane. He and Faiane leading this team.
-
Geez, what a horrible weather. For the crowd that's there, it's good that there aren't more people. At least they get the opportunity to look for a dry, covered seat now that they've opened some of the other stands.
-
@stargazer Bullshit. Ioane drove him back in a big tackle in the 1st half. Whitelock can't stop him off the back of the scrum even with going very offside.
Even against 14 men Whitelock's ball carrying was his usual 1m and flop over.
-
Canterbury tight five was dominant in the 1st half, and Ioane barely saw the ball. 2nd half a different story.

You know that it's only rucks leant on that counts when comparing Akira and Luke.
-
Well akira is -2 points atm, compared to Luke's 0 😉
-
Sick family scuppered my plans to go, which is probably a good thing given the rain now. Shame about the weather, would have put a lot of people off - still a good crowd though.
Long way back for Auckland, going to need some magic. Closing out a game in shitty weather is the most Canterbury thing ever.
-
We really miss Papalii - not getting turnovers today.
-
Watching Akira closely. Canterbury almost get a turnover because Akira is the first to the ruck but just watches everyone else do their job. The ball spills lose and he kicks it ahead causing havoc. What an enigma!
-
Yes, finally! Try Trainor. Maybe we're getting a real contest now.
-
Looks like the say my name promo didn't work for nisbo. Rooroo, soo.
-
Clarke on for Rayasi, who didn't have his day.
-
That try was due to Ioane's pressure at the ruck then his ball carrying.
Guy is certainly not finished, but who wouldn't want him on in the last 30 minutes in a World Cup knock out game?
-
Jesus, they need to pull Ruru, his game has fallen apart this week.
-
Official attendance 20,130.

@nepia They have!
Hopefully Fukafuko isn't worse
-
Starting to get exciting!
So when was the list npc north of 20k at the ground?
-
More ruck pressure from Auckland got that penalty. One of those players was Ioane.

Geez, man, stop the fluffing.
-
Must be a yellow card coming.
-
@stargazer Still think he was "dominated"?
-
Score? Time?
Bloody foxtel -
McAlister looks handy.
