@bones mate welcome to the fern! Been a topic here for a while.

Simplest way to explain is to ask the questions 'would I be impressed if AB coaches acted like he does?' and 'do I think it helps sort out playing problems?'

The answer to both is no.

    Fair enough.

But if they were doing that, and still winning by 30, I'd suggest that double-blind studies into the topic would point to a statistically insignificant number of fucks given by Kiwi fans generally.

If they had playing problems then they wouldn't be winning by 30...and AB coaches that carry on like a goose would cop it in the public domain big time.
I thought that was a difference between the countries that you would have realised by now. We expect more humility and are quick to shoot people down that stand out.

We had an AB coach who shot his mouth off in public and was a bit of a tool. Jon Mitchell.

He had a winning record too, with quite a few really big wins.

He was mocked for his public statements right from the start and sacked as soon as they could. At the time people thought it was an over-reaction to one loss. But were still happy to see him go, for the other reasons.

And he wasn't half as mouthy as Cheika.

I can't see NZ putting up with anyone like that. It's simply not how we roll.

Australia have had Eddie Jones and even Alan Jones too in my time. Big gobs simply aren't seen the same way.

@nta sensational, well thought out, multi attack rant.

    With some great points too.

Which one ? After your review I had a read of both . Codmouth Hanson was the standout quote of the first one . I think Aussie fans are becoming desensitised.

Maybe Krustys childish moronic over the top antics aren’t the reason the wallabies are shit but I doubt they help in anyway .

How does he get the team to iron out their issues when he blatantly puts blame on others all the time?

Better to ask the question: "How the fuck do people like Folau earn hundreds of thousands a year when they can't even draw and pass to U16 level?"

@nta By your own admission you probably watch less Wallaby rugby than a lot of people on here.

Comes down to burning 15 hours a week during club season (Apr-Aug) on making sure things come together.

I got to watch 12 of 14 of our games from the sideline (sometimes with a flag) - lack of skill and getting thrashed is something I've observed all year from amateurs.

I don't need to see it from "pros".

That said, I'm parked on the couch for the moment, waiting for the game to start, as Mrs TA is waiting for pickup from her CBD hotel after attending a hens night

I was worried the Argies were just gonna curl up at this stage of the tournament, go full soccer, screaming for penalties and shit, let the Wallabies get some confidence by rolling over them.
Early Puma try... should make this a game.
    Edit: 2 early tries.

Pumas are in again after a kind of an intercept on an Oz break.

Great well-deserved try from Orlando. Disappointing for the Pumas to lose Sanchez that early.

And then the Pumas put Koroibete on his back.

Half time: 31 - 7 to the Pumas. Well-deserved lead.

Pumas look very good. Wallabies look like bunnies in the spotlight.
