For those of you who care, Notts County, the oldest professional team in the world (1862), founding members of the Football League (1888) are in danger of dropping out of the league for the first this weekend. They have to win at Swindon and hope Cambridge win at Macclesfield. Both events are fairly unlikely and any other results see relegation for Notts.
As the most relegated club in the football league, this adds to our record. And with the 3rd highest attendance in the 4th tier (over 7,000), we will be the biggest club in the 5th tier. However it is a sad day for a club that dropped out of the top flight the season before the Premier League started.
And although it is odd that Liverpool may not win the title despite only losing a single game all season - Man City lost the Womens Super League to Arsenal while remaining unbeaten.

2 - 3 Liverpool win at Newcastle to keep the pressure on.

Cambridge did their best to help you with a one nill lead at halftime before letting in the equalising goal mid way thourh the seond hald. Your guys going down three one certainly did not help. Is there any hope remaining or was that the last game of the season?

No hope, we're DOWN. (Actually if Bolton were to be kicked out of the league altogether we might survive ....). For around 15 minutes we were actually staying up being 1-0 up and Macclesfield losing. But then Macc equalised and we went down in a screaming rush.
Ironic that Warnock took Cardiff down today when 27 years ago he took us down, the last time we were in the top flight. He's an old bugger, both managers in the Cardiff v Palace game are over 70.

Spurs acting Spursy, lose 0-1 to Bournemouth, failing to clinch top 4. Arsenal need 3 points from Brighton to stay in the hunt
Great look on Poch's face when the guy he brought on at half-time as a sub to save Dier from getting himself sent off immediately takes someone off at the knee and is sent off. Lucky for Spurs that the Arse and Manure are so terrible.

94 fucking points

I haven't watched the game yet but it sounds like we didn't react well to some filth from Bournemouth that went unpunished by the ref. I feel relieved that Huddersfield and BHA both did us a solid and ManU and Arsenal are just as spursy as us
-
Sergio Aguero has had 8 seasons at Man City, his goal total in each season is
30, 17, 28, 32, 29, 33, 30, 31 = 230 in total with 163 in the league.
But he is yet to win an award, in fact no Manchester City player has won the PFA player of the season award even with the titles they have won. Kind of strange really.

That maybe applies to Son but he lost it completely and had to go. Dier should have gone for 3 bookable offences but was only punished for 1, Foyth was an idiot and had to go. Still were much the better team though .... pretty sure they would have won with 11 on the field, young debutant goalie for Bournemouth had a great game.

Arguably the best striker in premier history, but just never gets the recognition his record and hard work deserve.

Leicester City are our final hope. To think we could finish with only one loss, 97 points and not win the title. Madness.

With a superior goal difference!!
I can't believe city have had four losses!!
Nice to have the title on the line on the final day. That is the only game that bears any significance unless spurs lose by a heap and we win by a heap (8 is the GD at the moment between the two, I think)

We seem to have hit the wall big time. It was unacceptable to behave like that with everything that was at stake. Fortunately we got help because I was shitting myself about us having to get a result vs Everton on the final day to stay in the top 4. We have a lot of work to do to strengthen the squad and remove the dead wood

If you can overtake our 8 goal GD, you deserve to make it

Arsenal and Man Utd capitulate, fall outside the Top Four and won't have Champions League football next year.
Both clubs are going to lose players; others will stay on reduced wage.
Time to stop thinking about Man Utd and Arsenal as Mega clubs? They are no way near as successful as when Ferguson or Wenger were in their pomp.

Part of the problem is the quality of the guys he plays around. Good enough to give him quality ball to work with, but too good in that they inevitably take some of the limelight for themselves.

We have a small chance by winning Europa league. We are 3-1 up going to second leg but a 2-0 loss wouldn't surprise
