    I knew Koroi had been brought into the squad due to an injury to Nareki, but Aminasi Nicole (sp) is playing, too and I don't see Curry and Dickson.

    Hmmm, they shouldn't have let in that Scottish try at the end, but a good win.

    FT: 21 - 7 NZ

    Through to the SF.

    @bones said in 2018-2019 World Sevens Series:

    @stargazer curry started.

    Did he? I tuned in late and can't remember seeing him.
    Anyway, we've far too many injuries again if they needed to call in more reinforcements.

    Wow, the USA have knocked out Fiji! A very convincing win, too: 24 - 14

    So the Cup semis are:

    NZ v England at 1.17am
    Australia v USA at 1.39am

    That USA performance was excellent. Really physical. Fiji looked a bit clueless.

    NZ into the final after an epic 7-5 win over England, including a goal line stand that must of lasted at least 5 minutes

    @stargazer That is a tough ask. Thank goodness finals aren't ten minutes each way any more!

    Masirewa sent to the bin. I didn't see the reason why.

    The USA benefits from having a man more. Try in the corner.

    7 - 5 NZ

    @stargazer was a high tackle.

    I have to give it to Collier. He's been immense. Well done fella.

    14 - 5 NZ with 1'30" to go.

    USA with 8 men on the field. What's the ref going to do?

    Amazing guts shown, brilliant effort and fight. Collier has grown into a fine player, obviously due to all my moaning a couple of years ago.

    Awesome to see the AB7s win the Dubai Sevens despite all their injuries! That was a great try from McGarvey-Black at the end.

    FT: 21 - 5 NZ

    Double victory this weekend, with both NZ teams taking out the Dubai Sevens! Important for Olympic qualification!
