Ng Shiu has become one of the best players in the team. Gregory continues to impress too.

    FT: AB7s 28 - 5 France

Through to the semi-final v Fiji at 6.16pm.

@KiwiMurph Gregory has an excellent legdrive; it's very hard to stop him when he goes for a run with the ball. Ng Shiu has indeed improved.

I hope the coach doesn't do the same thing as last week in the SF and starts the wrong players. Knewstubb should definitely start and not Koroi. Apart from his speed, Koroi hasn't impressed lately. Knewstubb is so much better.
Ware should start, too, and Mikkelson if he's able to play. I'm still not sold on Ravouvou.

Wow, and South Africa is out! England has just beaten them in the Cup QF, 26 - 5.

England is creeping closer and closer to SA in the overall standings. That 4th spot is crucial for Olympic qualfication.

Knewstubb not starting and nz all over Fiji. Koroi very much a lynchpin. Is Knewstubb from Canterbury?

19-7 Fiji with a red card for a tip tackle.

And another cheap shot with a late shoulder from Fiji only earns them a yellow. Weak reffing.

NZ on fire! Absolutely smoked Fiji 36-14. Big games from everyone but Baker was huge. Just played it too quick for Fiji and on the rare occasion Fiji got the ball, NZ actually made them have to do more than one pass to score.

Clinical by NZ. Regan Ware has had some tournament. Koroi had a much better semi than last week!

Only caught the end of the game, what was the score when Fiji got the red?

Don't be such a dick. If you don't agree with me, that's fine, but you don't have to question every comment that I make about a player as being biased (not sure what Canterbury has to do with it, though). Okay, so Koroi had a good game. Great. He needed to after his average games.

    @Crazy-Horse might have been 14-0 I think.

Haha! It's what I do best.

Constant fawning over players that haven't been as good as it's made out is usually reserved for those in red n black, that's all. Perhaps the ABs benefitted by not having the Knewstubb speed bump out there on defence.

Cheers, the red might have been a factor then?

@Crazy-Horse Don't know about that; they just weren't as good as last week. I noticed it in the game against Australia in the Cup QF, too.

Stupid stuff from the Fijians, really. That red card was a horror show. The yellow was no better

@Crazy-Horse probably likely, they looked pretty knackered.

@NTA the tip tackle was weird eh, right out in the open, absolutely no need for it. The shoulder... Well that was just Fiji being beaten.
