2020 6 Nations places

- France
- Ireland
- Scotland
- Wales
- Italy

Very impressed by France tonight. Lots of classy players, especially the 9/10 combination of Dupont and Ntamack. They take their chances very well.
-
France the best side in the tournament but what happened v Scotland? England did enough, just, v Italy but by the cringe it was painful to watch. An appalling kicking game which we rarely seemed like changing. I doubt Eddie will be pleased overall.
I’m not.

Yeah very good
Scotalnd upsetting the apple cart and handing Eng the win. Also Wales is back ... to the bad old days.

I watched the 2nd half of the France-Ireland game. The breakdown is still an absolute mess with Barnes refereeing.
The highlight of the match was watching Sexton sulk when he was subbed.
-

I watched Bledisloe highlights on youtube, as had drunk a bit on the night. Then it played France v Ireland. That's my first experience watching any of the pro sports with no crowds. Gee, it's a tough watch. Didn't make it through to the end.
Yet, I've previously watched test cricket from UAE with pretty much no crowds, without being affected.

The quality of the Wales Scotland game ..
Scotland was dire, Wales was worse.

More mess

SHOCK! HORROR! Terrific surprise!

Attack and Forwards skills coaches are a more pressing need

@MiketheSnow You can have Scott McLeod if you want.

Eddie has pulled a few minor surprises, plus it seems ignoring the chance to blood some depth in areas that are crying out for it. But... in Eddie we trust.
Backs:
Daley, Jospeh, Lawrence, Slade, May, Farrell, Youngs.Forwards: Genge, George, Stuart, Ewels, Launchbury, Itoje, Willis, Vunipola.
Bench (from memory and in no order):
Vunipola, Dunn, Sinckler, Earl, Curry, Robson, Malins, Marchant.
I don’t like the combo of Joseph on the wing and no back three replacement. Itoje could do with a rest instead of playing him out of position. Youngs could handle a rest also plus giving Robson some meaningful game time seems sensible. Glad that Willis has got his chance albeit at 7 and Malins has been lighting up things at Bristol and deserves his bench spot. I think this game will provide more questions than answers.

Fiji v France cancelled.

Wales are going well...

Irish got out to 23 pts, bastards. Couldn't even get the spread
Pivac got rid of a defensive coach but kept the forwards skills coach and the attack coach
Our hooker couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo and our best attacking threat - Tompkins - was watching from home
That's all Pivac
He's not very good
And will hopefully go the same way as all the other Llanelli johns
Quickly, in a car park

Very good stream
It's terrible for me, just really blurry when it's motion shots, similar to when the quality is low while the feed is still "buffering" of sorts.
Also really unimpressed with the "studio" team. Gabby constantly cutting the pundits off to move to another topic, ad break or bullshit promo video and constantly talking about England.
-
Good pressure from Scotland, Weir starting to pull the strings, and Scotland go over in a bit of a fluke
Italy 14 - 14 Scotland

So odd he hasn't played in 4 years! Seems like only last year I saw him running around.

Scottish commentators are great.

Great momentum from the bench for Italy

Lunch call, so no typing
Scotland exerted their experience in the last 20 and pulled away to win
Italy 17 - 28 Scotland
Scoreline flattered Scotland but fair play they took their chances whereas Italy didn't
Italy would have beaten Wales today, so thank god we played Ireland last night.
Good young half-back partnership for Italy

England v Georgia just started
Frenetic
England will walk this
-
Fuck me England.
Bully, bully, bully and then when they can't bully their way over the backs (May) fuck it up

England rumble, make hard work of it, but finally get over.
