Is Mounga the best 10 option?

I'm not sure some of you guys have been watching a lot of Canes games this year. BB has been absolutely critical, without him we look utterly rudderless. Every time West has been at 10 we've struggled badly.
If it wasn't for BB sparking the backline we would have lost a lot more games with a powderpuff pack that has really struggled against a lot of teams, including the bloody Reds.
I agree he wasn't in vintage AB form in 2017, but I'm not convinced our tactics and gameplan were that crash hot either.
It's great to see Mo'unga continue his development, he's clearly second in line right now, but Beauden still offers a hell of a lot more. I just hope they have Mo'unga on the bench ahead of bloody DMac.

Whilst I essentially agree I'm not sure the bolded bit supports your argument.

The point may be that maybe your 2017 World Rugby Player Of The Year is playing a bit shit, especially compared to this guy, who we recall has outplayed your 2017 World Rugby Player Of The Year several times. Yeah, fuck him, right?
Outplayed him? By that I presume you mean surfed behind a far superior pack. Let's swap those round and see how your man goes. I doubt you even watch a single game not involving the Crusaders (means you can't get your red and black gimp suit out).
I'm quite happy to have RM as back up 10, but this talk of him replacing BB is ridiculous.

@rancid-schnitzel Just have to take any comments from these people with a grain of salt to go with the chip on the shoulder. Remember these are the type of people that started to support the Wallabies when Deans missed out on the ABs coaching job.
Mounga would probably be the no.2 10 right now, especially as Dmac hasn't really performed at test level yet. Neither has Mounga as he hasn't had a chance, but Hansen is loyal to players that do, so there's no reason Mounga couldn't jump ahead in the pecking order. The Crusaders are actually pretty impressive right now and that's also with some front liners out. -
As a Crusaders fan, I’d love to see Mo’unga playing well for the All Blacks. Our players are always better than the other lot.
But there are what, 13 or 14 tests this season? Over that time, all of BB, DMac and Mo’unga are all going to get plenty of minutes. We need all of them confident and ready to go as starters or run ons to be successful over the next couple of years.
With Cruden and Sopoaga both leaving, we lack depth and 1st 5 and need to build it for the WC. There’s a big step down after from 3rd to 4th choice. I hope we don’t have to go there.

This is particularly funny cos I imagine the likelihood of it being true is reasonably high.

Great All Black in a bit shit for his Super Rugby team shocker! This is something we've not seen before, what will the ABs coaches do?
Next there'll be news of them getting up to drunken shenanigans with teammates.
