    Embarrassingly bad defence

Good to see Perenara playing deep into the game in his comeback

Based on tonight (and this season really) I don't see how Ardie gets back in. We miss Shields far more than we miss Ardie, especially on defense. I'd expect an AB quality flanker to have really imposed himself on this Reds team by now.

@no-quarter even seems to have lost a bit of his spark on attack too

I don't mind a penalty for the knock forward, but an automatic card even when you're in the opposition half is harsh.

I think the ref is getting confused. Once Umaga-Jensen touches the ball he's fair game to be tackled while trying to regather.

By the laws today that should have been a penalty and a card.

With or without the hip hop music, Matt Todd is better

@no-quarter Yeah - you can't run up the field juggling the ball and not expect to be tackled.

TJ's got no case at all in asking for a penalty.

Canes get the best possible outcome in a defensive scrum.

Although how can you card a player who was trying but denied the opportunity to catch the ball due to the opposition player. That would have been unduly harsh.

I think O'Keefe got it right in the end.

TJP talked the ref out of the YC and into looking at the replay. Well done him.
