I don't think it was unfair or brutal for Jenny-May to have put the question to Grant. Leadership is fronting up in bad times and taking the mustard. However, I would have preferred JM to put Southby under the grill, because it is clearly she who is a big part of the problem. Her coaching methods suck, and her bullshit statements of 'trusting the process' and other shit is not nearly getting the ridicule it deserves. The fact is, the Silver Ferns have tanked under her watch.
I don't even know this Southby woman but I dislike her already. Trust the process? Is she trying to change the culture? I think someone has been studying the Hammetteur's methodology

Here's hoping Katrina Grant comes out with the "Youse got what youse wanted "...

As long as she doesn't say "The key is the we"....

57 - 37 final.
Gives them a final percentage of 116ish% to our 124ish%.
Always liked Scotland.
So barring ridiculous result by Malawi we get to embarrass ourselves versus Aussie.
We've got aussie right where we want them. We almost never beat them in the final so now we can beat them in the SF!!

It's like the ABs getting beaten by Namibia.
It never is.
I saw that headline - for a start we're not close to being the number one netball team.
It's pretty much like South Africa getting beaten by Japan.
Embarrassing, but not unbelievable.

We came within a handful of goals to losing a semifinal spot to Uganda.
Golden times ahead..When a team puts themselves in that position, all questions about talent, effort, planning, and coaching are rightly on the table.

I still find the Springboks being beaten by the "Brave Blossoms" staggeringly unbelievable.
At the time I was certain my mate living in Japan was sending absolute nonsense through WhatsApp...!

If the ABs lost to Japan in the RWC the whole team would have to pile into a room at Keith Murdoch's farm!!!

@canefan we know it all goes back to the book of Mitchell
Fair enough question imo, even if it's a bit rough. Agree with you @Mokey, where is Southby in all of this? Facts/Stats don't care about your feelings! They've tanked under her coaching, which makes you wonder (again) about her initial selection. My mum is netball crazy, and our fall is driving her batshit.

Taurua Barnett was the right choice. But for some reason the cool girls don't want her

Eight Cameroon athletes (including the boxer who was set to face David Nyika) have been reported 'missing'. Three April 8, two April 9, and three April 10.
Coincidentally...
In 2006, more than 40 athletes and officials who participated in the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne overstayed or sought asylum in Australia, including from the African countries of Cameroon, Ghana, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
Cameroon weightlifters Francois Etoundi and Simplice Ribouem both received refugee status, and were in the 2018 Australian team.

WTF is going with this coverage. There's live athletics going on and I just watched a "segment" of journalists having a fucking race or something earlier in the day, followed by ads.
This is honestly close to unwatchable.
-
Hopefully this is the Comm Games ‘we had to have’ for our Netball team who have been languishing for some time now.

When Keith Quinn criticises TVNZ you know TVNZ have got it wrong.
Glad I'm not subject to what appears to be be absolute balls up in NZ.

We’ve all but given up. Mainly tracking the results online...
