Why the All Blacks don't just focus on 80 minutes of forwards up the middle, destroying the advantage line, with offloads to other forwards, then generously letting the backs finish the breaks off.
We are the All Blacks, with the invincible and fearsome aura, not the South Pacific Globetrotters. Time to demolish other teams with tough forwards and tight linking play.We play to our strengths, which currently is our skills, speed and combinations in the backline.

I almost laugh now. As one of the ABs did today - just point at the scoreboard.
Not happy about 2 losses and a draw this year but given the unavailable players it wasn't too bad. I also blame TCCG (That Cheating fluffybunny Garces) for one loss and the draw take him out and we had our usual one loss for the year.

Teams winding down the clock by resetting scrums with 3mins left eg ireland v Fiji.
I'm not just picking on ireland, every team does it, just that I was at that game. Basically the game finished at the 77th minute.
I would stop the clock when a scrum is called and only start it once the ball is put in.

We'll have to agree to disagree then, I thought he was horrendously inconsistent around the ruck and obstruction yesterday. Hate that cunty smirk, too
Topic: Wyatt Crockett coming on after 55 minutes and starting to collapse the scrum and giving penalties away. Annoying.

I third that statement. Can see why they now allow the 9 to get hands on and not be rushed but those cheeky 9s are just taking the piss. I reckon once you roll that ball it should be fair game.

The obstruction was a joke in this fixture. Barnes is blind as a ref. He's got no feel for rucks. His positioning sucks. It matters not that "he communicates well" when he's all over the place like a mad woman's shit because the players need consistency of interpretation and application.
Whoever reviews him after Tests should be fired for obvious incompetence.

Something I noticed in both the NZ and the French games this weekend. Why is it that sometimes a try wipes out foul play. But other times it doesn't
Naholos finish was awesome but that attempt at a tackle was a shoulder charge plain and simple and deserved at least a penalty restart at half way.
Same thing France Japan, Basteraud hits a guy and ends up flipping him Japan score and they don't bother to go back to take a second look at that.

^^ This. Compared to the RWC QF vs SA where we scored off a penalty advantage and Habana still got carded.
The officiating in general is just a shambles these days. Maybe I'm becoming a grumpy old man having turn ed 30 this year, but I swear it never used to be this bad. Puts you off watching.

The use of the TMO for endless slo-mo replays puts so much pressure on the reffing team that they get complete tunnel vision. Staring at the grounding/touchline and not seeing the obvious shoulder charge in the same picture.

The Argies have a competitive scrum but its nothing special.
