Ahh yes the table I looked didn’t have the abandoned game result.

So Points, then %, then series split.

Don’t think it will get to the 3rd, so really we just need to win and win biggish.

Creek getting hurt yesterday will help that

On the radio they said we need to win by 23 goals more than our rival who plays them on Sunday.

Looks like the season's done lads, that's a massive ask unless somehow the other fellas drop a game.

apologies - can't remember the names, don't want ot guess, and can't be arsed googling

@nzzp Melbourne United are the rivals also vying for playoffs who are playing the common opponent on Sunday (South East Melbourne Phoenix).

that's why I got confused. I wrote Melbourne, then I tried to figure out who they were playing. The OTHER Melbourne team clearly 😐

The disappointing thing is Melbourne are a bit shit. We were terrible last night, turned the ball over constantly, and yet the game was in doubt for ages.

    And fuck Melo Trimble.

How good was that last night.

Damn proud of our boys. Sure it was basically an NBL mixed team for the Boomers, but we were as well. When the Tall Blacks have 6 players in double figures and the likes of Te Rangi, Loe, Ngatai and Illi are dominating, it says a lot!

Pero got the boys humming with intensity on D and some smart offence that took advantage of mismatches.

It’s been a long 11 years, but hey not as long as Aussies have held the Bledisloe 😀

@ACT-Crusader but shit, come on, let's not kid ourselves about the opposition! With all players available we would lose by 30, 9 times out of 10.

@voodoo bro I don’t care if they put Crocodile Dundee in that green jersey, getting a win against the Boomers any time is to be celebrated. A very long time in between drinks and for some of our young guys, a bit of a winning feeling will give us a shot in the arm for the other two qualifiers.

Tall Blacks that were missing that I’d have in my squad - Adams, Webster’s x2, Salt, Fotu, Finn, Abercrombie

Awesome win from the Snakes. Shut down Cotton who had a huge night on Friday.

Oliver has been an animal on the glass in the two games.

Fuck what a performance! The first qtr was as good an atmosphere as any sport event I have been to.

We should have won Friday (beaten by one of the best individual NBL games I have seen) and now I reckon we are favourites Thursday

Oliver has been massive. We won today without Machado having a big one.

Holy shit, and Melbourne break all sorts of records in absolutely destroying Sydney in game 2

    It's very conceivable that it's 3rd v 4th in the finals.

    Carn the Taipans!

Both game 3s tonight, first Sydney trying to turn around a record thumping in game 2. Then Cairns trying to go to Perth and win game 3.

I'm bullish about our chances to be honest, we've done nearly everything right in the first 2 games.

It's been a great season for the Club.
