Invitational, provincial, local & school sevens tournaments

That’s got to be the most dumb arse play from Caleb Tangitau that you will ever see at any level of rugby in 2022 🤦🏻
-
Haha, that was a weird end to the game.
Caleb Tangitau thought he could end the game by throwing the ball out instead of kicking it out. From the interview just now, it's clear he didn't know that rule.
And then, after getting the penalty, the Aussie just drops the ball.
Anyway, AB7s beat Oz 17 - 12.

Imagine if that was the Olympic final ..still shaking my head

@Steven-Harris Yeah, true. I guess that's why these regional tournaments offer good learning opportunities for these youngsters. I guess he will hear about it from his team mates for a while!

@ARHS It was really good to see some of our rookies getting a run. Some have really put their hand up for selection.
It will be interesting to see who'll be in the Commonwealth Games squad, when the team is named this Wednesday.
Laidlaw just said they'll name a squad of 13, with 2 travelling reserves. That seems the usual number.

Fijiana getting their first win of the tournament. BF7s Pango clearly the weaker team of the two BFs teams, with more rookies and fewer experienced players, but just like the AB7s, a good opportunity to get better.
Te Tamaki just said there were 5 players in the team who had never played international 7s before.
Now, the final game for the trophy. Australia v Black Ferns Mā.
