@Hooroo Nobody said that rugby fans are never classless. Reference was simply made to an incident of particularly appalling behaviour that is unfortunately all too common in soccer.
Do you believe that rugby fans are just as bad?
And classlesss rugby fans are all too common. I don't care about which is worse

I don't recall ever seeing a rugby game where the fans
- Make monkey sounds at particular players
- Throw food or coins at players on the pitch
- Throw piss at each other in the stands
I have definitely seen all of those (WTW can probably back me up with two of those three.) Seen Sivivatu been racially abused from he stands.
Lasers in eyes for kickers.
It's a silly argument as it all is disgraceful

But some rugby fans boo players when they run onto the field so they're just as bad apparently. Sorry Hooroo but I just can't accept that argument.
However, just looking at the footage it would seem that Buffon was actually trying to clap the anthem and was embarrassed by the booing by the home fans. So, he's a good Italian.

Yes and no. Sivi adn Lauaki, yes, lasers no
My comment wasn't about classless countries it was rugby fans. You should hear what gets shouted at games in SA

@hooroo WTW was probably doing all of them!!
Shouting out All Blacks during a moments silence was the worst I've come across, and it then prompted an English twat to call out Ennnggglllaaand
They must have still been classsy though @taniwharugby ............................

After the gay marriage postal vote and soccer things today, it seems only appropriate:
**Local Gay Socceroos Supporter Literally Explodes** As if today couldn’t get any better for Dave Hatton, it just did. This morning, his love for his partner Michael was validated and accepted by the majority of his fellow Australians. Tonight, his second loves just qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Speaking to The Advocate moments after his head exploded with pure ecstasy and love, the 31-year-old concierge said that today has been ‘quite full-on.’ “Yeah, my head just exploded everywhere,” he said. “Today has been a great day, compared to other days I’ve lived previously,” “This morning, we felt reached a highwater mark of love and acceptance in this country. This afternoon, we get revenge on the Italians for kicking us out of the World Cup in 2006. With the greatest respect guys, succhiarmi il cazzo.” From the Betoota Hotel beer garden when a number of young football fans are watching the game, every late night trading venue in the Old City district of town has been granted special permission by Mayor Councillor Keith Carton to remain open. “If anybody closes their nightclub before Sunday, they’re a bum,” shouted Carton from the roof of the Dolphins Club. “Lettuce party!” More to come, tomorrow.
