Geez, the unthinkable has happened and the AB7s have beaten England. To the Final they go!!
Final score: NZ 14 - 5 England
Looks like they'll get smashed by the saffas, but.
Not a pretty win, and absolutely drained at the end. -

Good, the NZ team can get the signatures from the Blitzbokke players now
Unfortunately probably true, Blitzboks are as far in front of the AB7s as the real Springboks are behind the real ABs

I was just cracking a joke. I would probably say NZ ahead of Fiji. Then the Aus / England level. After a few tournament we will know more. I do see Blitzbokke dominating while they have their players (for the first few tournaments till SupeRugby starts). They do have depth though and also an academy.

Game being nicely controlled by SA but interesting to see all high shots and late hits by SA being ignored.
Motherfucker Islanders also play dirty. Or do did you miss the QF today.
Super classy stuff. Bloody South Sea islanders eh?
I guess you missed the high tackle and also after a try was scored a tackler pushed a scorer over the HSRC advertiser board.
What on earth does that have to do with the comment I made on the game I was watching?

Good luck NZ 7s, may the best team win regards from a Blitzbokke fan ...
-
That is disgusting. Give him a card.
-
Let's see what NZ do with SpeckMagic off
-
Game on NZ score 2 tries with him off
-
NZ stuff it with a knock on. 1 min to go.
-
19 - 12 to Blitzbokke ... Blitzbokke just need to kick it out
-
And they show who is boss and score ... see you at Cape Town 7s ... 24-12
-
Happy to go within a score of what is man for man a far superior team in the final, as I said semis was a success for me.
Could well have been red for Ravouvou and the yellow for Speckman looked harsh but never saw a replay. I'm really not sure Ravouvou is worth it, every time I watch he has a game loser or two a game to go with his game saver or two, doesn't seem to be improving in that regard.
Mikkelsen an absolute shadow of his former self in attack but Forbes like in defence.
Did Webber turn up at all?
Like the look of Knewstubb, reminds me of Amasio.

What's the story behind the Scottish coach? I think NZ will have a much better season going on this tournament's performance
Im not sure but him asking at the end of the half time team talk: "anyone want to come off", was a little unusual.

Yeah, the reason I'm asking was because I heard "Continue to do what you are doing, but faster" at half time, and I was like wtf? Is that actual coaching input or fluff? They look to be better in a lot of aspects this year, just not convinced with the coach just yet.

@pn All I know is that he has played sevens himself for Scotland and that he has been part of the Hurricanes coaching set-up previously.

Really don't know why they went to 7 minute halves for finals. The excuse was injuries I think, but with the two best teams playing and the flukey nature of sevens it made it more of a contest and gave more of a chance to get back in the match. 10 minute halves were heaps better I reckon. Tough on the players but they don't play again.
AB sevens starting to believe again and building - I hope.
