@booboo open your other eye when you watch the replay mate.
I continue to reserve judgement

Either late tactical awareness of how to adjust? Or the impact of their bench (which was better than last wek's). Lions blew us away in the last 20. There was a period of prologued aggressive defence around the 70 min mark (or thereabouts) that was awesome.
Well done Lions, got there in the end.
Glad for Gats. His players almost let him down with their indiscipline.
I thought Garces was fine. There's always quibbles.

Anyone notice Itoje smack Charlie during the scuffle after the deciding penalty? Might have been a bitch slap but Charlie ended up on his arse.

Yep - that defence around 70 min... every single tackle, the ABs were going backwards.
Fuck it. Fucking fuck it. -
Jesus golden boy Barrett gets a free ride on here. He was so poor tonight, and kicked away good attacking ball on numerous occassions, none of which came close to working out. Still our best option, and agree Cruden was no better, but you can criticise him you know.
Lions much better than us in contact all night, losing kaino hurt.
I'm bitterly disappointed because I feel that we still should have won that.
I have zero problems with the ref

Beauden was shit and Cruden even worse. If Beauden kicks as well as they did - from tougher positions - we win comfortably.

Sonny Bill is a brainless fuckwit
Haven't read the thread but i assume the usual apologists are out in force blaming the ref.
I'm blaming the ref and I'm blaming Dub
Cool, I'm blaming SBW . I think Stuff comments will back me up on this one.

I'm sure the vitriol is being aimed at SBW but the ABs could still have won this game despite his stupidity.
There was always going to be a test in which Barrett's erratic goal kicking was a factor. Unfortunately this was that game.
Well done to the Lions and their victory sets up the 3rd test nicely. I'm looking forward to being there.

Very disappointed by the lack of go forward this week compared to last the backrow didnt show up in my opinion especially in the first 20. Cane excepted.
So is it illegal to tackle a player that's in the air diving for the line now too? So you can jump over the line and no one is allowed to touch you? Unbelievable rule.
Lions deserved the win but this just proves you can't go into a game without a kicker who can get the job done. Need a rethink at first five against this type of opposition and those conditions.

The ABs, along with just about every NZ team who have played the Lions this tour, have struggled to get any backline moves or free flowing rugby going. Hays off to the Lions. They have contained us big time with the rush (offside) defense. That's why our 10s are resorting to poor kicks.
