You guys are fucking harsh on Perofeta. He has slow ball from a halfback who has slow service, its pissing down and he's dealing with a rush defence plus he has a 13 with no distribution skills.
I like the kicks in behind - it shows some vision. Yes he has made errors but he is 20 years old in his first start against what is effectively a test team.

Doesn't work well with others. Also has been acting on what he thinks (eg the Payne no try.) before the ref has made the actual call. Lions players look to have gained his sympathy and that's poor for a usually quality ref.How did Gardner disagree? i'm not hearing the ref on my feed.
Just going by the pictures but after the try was adjudged by the TMO he turned away and had a chat with a Lions player shrugging his shoulders seemingly in sympathy.
I'm obviously guessing but based on my reading of the body language and expression. It wasn't a good look. -

Has plenty of talent, but is struggling to assert himself and his accuracy isnt great.
