Stormers v Blues

@Nepia
That was like a referee horror show with a climax at the end! That try was given huh? You can blatantly propel yourself along the ground like that then?
(insert that emoji with the twirling finger meaning dumb or crazy - the same one I can't fucken find in that smiley list thing)

The try where De allende crawled close to.the line and next player played it off his feet and basically was part of the ruck too, was baffling.
As for the Duffies second yellow, I reckon there should be some responsibility on the ball carrier, his own actions made the situation dangerous there. If he does stand up like he, Duffie hits him around the hip area, fair tackle.
But the thing is, you just need to play good enough to take these kinda calls out of the equation, that's what the better teams do.

Blues lose, blues fans whinge and blame ref. Quelle surprise!
Funny the people whinging about Treeby not being carded are remarkably quiet on Ofa not seeing a card...
Was this deleted due to the use of non-English? It's easily translated, but very sorry...

@African-Monkey to the extent of blues fans, every week and every loss? Methinks not. Remarkable difference between blues threads and other NZ teams when the blues lose. Check the Crusaders-Chiefs thread...

@Bones I think people just enjoy posting about the Blues tbh especially as we are the worst in the conference. I haven't noticed it as much as I feel there are a lot of unbiased Blues fans on here and yes I did have a go at the video ref as he has always been rubbish throughout his career but as I have said earlier in this thread, we should not get ourselves in the position to let the refs decide the contest in the first place as you are going to cop a few roughies in SA being the touring side.
The blame for this loss falls squarely on Umaga and the captaincy team for not drumming the importance of discipline over there into the players heads, not the refs perfomance. Plus I feel we gassed badly and our subs made very minimal impact.
-
@African-Monkey yeah those unbiased blues fans 😁

@Bones I dont recall any bitching of the ref in our last loss vs the Canes? A lot of talk about how awesome Beauden was (rightly so)
Yep correct. We may come last in the conference every year, but our fans are very gracious in defeat and even more humble in victory.

Ha ha ha. Fucking good one man.
Either you're 12 or you weren't into rugby when Auckland were good

Before the internet?

@Crazy-Horse That's because they all left! Now there is only ACTC, that guy from Nelson, and stargazer.
-
@Crazy-Horse Cheers - anecdotal memory led me to suspect as much, but good to know the numbers support it.

@Kruse I just completed an analysis and the results point to Crusaders fans being the most level headed, unbiased, least ref whinging fans on here. Who would have thought?
Yup wonderful fans, and just great people in general are those mighty Crusaders fans. A credit not only to the Canterbury region, but NZ in general.
