Well done Lions, gave us a lesson on NH rugby. It's up to the ABs to counter it. Bring on Saturday.

Right. I vote we never play any touring teams at Rotovegas again. Ever.

Allowing the scrum to continue with a second push after a collapse is the equivalent of about 3 neck rolls. Our game is mad.

Lions totally dominant, Maori totally submissive.

Bring on the real test next week.

Might've been an idea to have this game between the tests and give the Maori a warm up game.

@Stargazer he was under no pressure from kicks against Samoa, but was poor against Lions for Crusaders. It's always been an issue despite other strengths.

So is this largely the same bunch that was beaten by Munster and scraped past Harlequins last year? Expectation over inflated by some pundits who saw "All Blacks" in the name and assumed magical transference of ability. Well played Lions.

@Tim Yep, either the Provincial or the NZ Baabaas could have been used for such a game.

@kev He was great under the high ball for the Crusaders. That was about the only thing that went well in that game.

Well behaved Akira and excellent work rate. Would not be out of place in Black with more support around him.

    Well done Lions. I'm impressed.

    Can see a blueprint there.

Why did they sub NMS after his chip kick for the try...in fact half the backs seemed to be absent most of the game

@Gunner go back and take a look. He jumps up like is Michael Jordan but spills the ball a lot.

    The fuck was that?
Maori a bigger flop than the Crusaders.
Dmac and Lowe were rubbish, demonstrating why they aren't being picked for the ABs.

Forwards were pretty shit also. Akira the only one who went ok.

Ngatai decent in the backs. Rieko nowhere near the level he showed against the Lions in a Blues jersey.
NMS didn't get many chances because the ball was often aimlessly kicked or dropped before it got to him.

Te'o and Davies looked a very good combination for the Lions.

When they started running from deep and with pace they caused the MAB defence huge problems.
