@Kirwan I never use these apps, so have no clue, but have you checked whether this works for you?
http://www.superrugby.co.nz/Fanzone/eCalendarThat looks pretty close to what I was after, but you have to put in your mobile number which I'm not willing to do.
Appreciate the help.

This sort of thing is Fan Support 101. Make it easy for your Fans to follow their team. I, like you, would like this added to my calendar - but only the Blues.
A mate reports that the NRL app is like this- tuned to make it easy to follow a team

Is it hard to create an ics?
The best developers are lazy, I'm working on the development side but I've nailed the laziness.
If I have to do it myself I will, just want to avoid it if possible. Assumed someone would have done this (without a naked marketing grab for my contact details)

@Kirwan Download 'Ultimate Rugby' app.
I always find the UI not that easy to find things but for what you are after just tap the menu symbol then at the top above 'profile' there is a search for 'teams, players and matches'.
Type in Blues then tap on them. there is then an option to 'Subscribe to Team Calendar'. This will ask if you want to add to your calendar and bob's your aunties toy boy -
