All Blacks v Italy
-
@kiwiinmelb said in v Italy:
Very disappointed this is not televised in Australia. Must be loads of kiwis in OZ. Looks like we get the other games. I assume the Italians are wanting too much?
Im not sure how it works exactly ,
4 games , 2 televised , has anyone actually explained why 2 are and the other 2 aren't ? Is it different TV rights.
Different rights holders - yes. Each union sells their rights individually, some might sell their whole home series as a package, some might do it ala carte.
This is exactly what happened on the 2009 EOYT where the Italian fixture wasn't even screened in Aus either.
-
So the two that aren't shown ,
Is that because they cant secure the rights or because they figure the price is too high ?
-
I added this to the first post of the 2016 end-of-year tour thread, last night:
Australia:
Scotland v Wallabies: BeIN 3 (LIVE) 1.30am AEST, replays 9.30am, 3.30pm
England v South Africa: BeIN 1 (LIVE) 1.30am AEST, replay 7.00pm
France v Samoa: BeIN 1 (LIVE) 3.40am AEST, replay 9.30pm
Wales v Argentina: BeIN 3 (LIVE) 4.30am AEST, replay 11.30am, 6.00pm
Ireland v Canada: BeIN 3 (LIVE) K/o 6.15am, tv guide says 6.25am AEST, replays 1.30pm, 10.30pm -
Reliable stream please. Send by pm
-
So the NZRU aren't doing their stream for this one?
-
yeah cos it's not a friendly this week...
-
NZRU owned the rights to last week. Italian RU own this one and have obviously sold the rights.
-
Right, time for that All Black pack to start building up to be an angry, effective, and aggressive bunch of mofos on kickoff.
Between it being the year of the sporting upset, and their much better (on paper) counterparts phoning it in last week against Ireland, this All Black 8 need to front up.
Preferably before the start of the second half.
-
Try cricfree , it says its on there
-
@Donsteppa was having a look at odds today.
Paddy power giving Italy a 40 point start and for a NZ win it is 1/500 while an Italian win is 16/1
TAB has ABs $1.01 and Italy $15
-
This game needs to result in the AB's giving the Italians the most brutal of hidings, otherwise the Irish will be even further boosted for Dublin.
The Maori AB's playing like a bunch of dumb fuck headless chooks against Munster did not help our cause one bit.
-
A series of rubbish results - Canterbury beating Ta$man; Ireland beating the ABs; Scotland drawing with the Kiwis; Munster creaming the Maori.
WTF - I thought we were supposed to be invincible!
There better be retribution dealt hard and long on the Italians!

Anyone who's got an android device can easily stream anything on TV in the world using the simple app "mobdro". I highly recommend it.
-
Sam Whitelock already warming up on his own for at least 10 mins.
-
And I can confirm Ardie is a midget. He's standing 50m away and is the same size as DMac. Fact.
-
could someone also pm me a stream. Thnks
-
Hmm.. was just thinking that Sergio may be the first person to lose 100 tests?
I'm guessing he's close to it..Or has someone already reached that landmark? Will be interesting to see who has the most test losses.. I'm guessing McCaw has the most test wins?
-
Live stream anyone?
-
Fekitoa in..
-
Mckenzie just looks rushed in everything he does..
-
Try Faumuina.
-
14-3 NZ after 16 minutes
-
Try Tuipulotu
-
So far a combination of us looking pretty good and Italy kicking away any and all possesion they've had. Pat T crashes over & it's 21-3 after 20 mins. Could get ugly.
Impressed with S Barrett so far.
-
21-3... it's weird watching the score increment by 7s, rather than 5s
-
ALB brilliant and very nice finish from Dagg who seems to have recaptured his pace this season. Great try.
-
Great try from Dagg; also converted 28-3
-
I officially love ALB.
And I didn't think he should start for the Chiefs. Ha.
-
Crockett with the try: 35-5. It's almost HT.
-
It's hard to judge players' performance when the opponent is so weak.
Have been looking at the newbies in particular, and Barrett has been really good; Dmac is yet to convince me. Some good catches and bad passes. -
Italy are rubbish in everything. Good refereeing so far, enjoyable to watch. Like the scrums,Italy going backwards
-
Live stream anyone?
