Ireland v NZ - Chicago Showdown & Dublin Duel
-
it looks like you can subscribe here and watch online if you can be fucked.
I did it once when they were Setanta and was not impressed with the quality , that was the last time we got beat by England, it was a bad experience all round -
I'll probably fork out $19.99 for a week of Sky FanPass (also gets me next week's game in Rome which kicks off at about 3am) and sit down at 9am with a pot of coffee and some Weetbix. And invite the missus and kids to fuck off. Thanks for asking.
-
So there's no legal option for those in Australia to watch?

I don't see any lineout issues for us on our own ball, Romano at 2 is safe, Tui or Read can easiliy will ball at 4 or 6 with Franks & Kaino lifting. Add to that all our backup loosies are lineout options - Luatua, Dixon, Squire.
And Ardie. How tall is he?
Good old @Canes4life he created a joke that will never get old.
Is Tommy Bowe injured or given that he's about 200 years old in international wingers years has he been dropped/retired ?

Tommy Bowe has recovered from injury but he's on the outer at this stage I think (32). Pity - always liked seeing him play. Trimble will get one last hurrah for this series. The future is Zebo, Healy, Adeolokun, Kelleher and Byrne.

Bowe has recovered from injury but at 32 he's on the outer. Trimble, at same age, is getting a last hurrah in the November series. The future is Zebo, Earls, D Kearney, Gilroy, Healy, Adeolokun, Sweetnam, Healy and Kelleher. Hopefully those are the names in the mix by this time next year.

Anyone know which hotel ABs are staying in?
-
That would explain the armoured van they're travelling around in!
-
Pretty sure our 23 will be close to full noise where possible for this game. With our two superstar locks out the changes in the starting forward pack will be minimal to compensate for our relative weakness here.
The talk will be around who replaces SW and BBBR (seems almost certain to be Romero and Padraig Tuohy-Polotu) and most likely the effect it has on the two bench spots for non front rowers. It seems logical to have a specialist lock on the bench but both bench options (Barrett and Fifita) are very green in the event of an early injury. I still like the two loose forward bench here, with Luatua a chance to get a run given his locking ability.
I'd say Cane will get a run from the bench with a view to captaining the Italy game (unless Cruden skippers in this game) and playing the big two games later in the tour. Given Ireland's size and ruggedness in the forwards, I wonder whether Todd starts again and Ardie Savea sits this one out.
Aaron Smith to come back as a starter.
Other than we're simply looking at the standard tinkering around the fringes i.e. J. Savea vs Naholo, and Fekitoa vs Moala on the bench.

Trump Tower I believe.

Wonder how A Smith would go as a sub.
I expect his penance has been paid though and he'll start. -

Yeah, top and tail.
-
There was media pressure on the Irish team to change from Trump towers. I never realised AB's were also going to be there
-
@Hooroo seems daft really, it is just a f@rken hotel, not like staying there means you like/hate him.

Yeah I saw that. They were told they should "keep sport and politics separate" by NOT selecting the best hotel that best meets their needs.
These people must actually be retarded.
Not a Trump supporter by any means FYI.
I got told the ABs are starting at Trump too, I'll confirm during the week.

Doesn't appear to be anything on Foxtel. Is that Setander or whatever it's called still around?

No, Setanta is now BeIN Sports and part of your Foxtel package if you have the sports pack, BeIN has three of the Wallabies games I see but no one seems to be showing this weekends Ireland v All Blacks game, can't see the Italy Test next week on either of these either...unbelievable, actually it is believable.
-
https://www.foxtel.com.au/watch/sport.html
"The new beIN SPORTS channels will also feature expanded rugby coverage from the Northern Hemisphere. Fans will get selected LIVE matches from the Wallabies and All Blacks Spring Tours, every game of the 2017 RBS 6 Nations LIVE and some of the best European club rugby."
The operative word is "selected"

Yeah I saw that BeIN only had Wallabies. Farking bullshit if there is absolutely no way of legally watching the game in Australia.

These fucking fluffybunnies. For the last few years the best AB games have been on Setanta and i have missed them. This year we get Setanta/beIN, it shows a fuck load of rugby, but the big AB games are missing. You fucking piston wristed gibbons. Put the fucking rugby on you bastards.
One possible ray of hope is that the broadcasting of the tour always seems to be finalised very late.

Might be worth giving them a call. Fingers crossed.
-
The part im confused about ,
Do they have the right to show it and they are electing not to ?
Or they cant show it because they are not allowed ?
Here is their email address anyway , maybe if they get enough emails they might show it ,
-
Didn't take long. Not even an English newspaper.
-
Rambling. Incoherent. Unstructured. Outdated stereotypes. Loose use of facts. Looser use of bullshit. No clear path from opening point to finish.
Wonder if he wants to post on TSF?
-
@Billy-Tell ah, there we go, it's November tour time, and right on cue we get our first haka troll. This one's a fairly poor effort though, it reads like a parody. If by halfway through you've already got the haka; BOD-gate; preferential treatment; and poaching, you've gone off early. Add in a quick "amateurs against professionals" quip, and you've pretty much got a bingo.
Look son, you're obviously new at this, a good troll comes with subtlety, and hiding it among more honest opinions. This is like using a shotgun, doesn't have the same impact. 3/10, good for a laugh though

Next year I'm going to do a NH bingo game with a prize of a couple Denis Lalane books for the first one to get
a haka troll
mention of BOD nearly dying
A manatee thrashwank about the refs favouring the abs
Three mentions of the aura
An accusation of arrogance
Two mentions of poaching
A mention of "south seas islanders" the only time I ever see this term is when a nh writer/troll is making a cock of himself.
A diatribe about a transgression from the abs that went unpunished
A fuckwitted tweet from Brian Moore. There's a couple more spaces to fill if anyone has any ideas?
-
with us winning 18 in a row , not so sure will get a - no longer have an aura - story this time, that is what would normally come next

Ireland playing with a lot of passion and heart ?
Mentioning the glorious victory Munster had in 78 ?
Stephen Jones being the kind of fuckwit Moore could only dream about ? I'm picking the Walrus will sink his tusks in on their behalf and using skilful journalistic wit turn everything back to the Poms and their magnificent massive forwards and orgasmic ten man gameplan that these All Blacks and their ridiculous basketball rugby ( I think the Walrus can single handedly lay claim to that term, when he's lying on his death bed bitterly whinging about all the tries scored in the modern game he can turn to the gibbering coot next to him and say he came up with that ) couldn't hope to emulate and how these victories don't mean a thing and they're lucky Eddie Jones and his men don't have a chance to crush them until 2018.Oh, and him specifically mentioning Island Bay as the latest All Black poaching ground cos they got the Saveas from there.

He's gone back to being a "project" player till he puts on 5kg of shoulders & 3 inches of hair

Ireland u20's victory
Ireland Woman's victory -
I assume the Bein TV guide is Sydney time (not Qld ... ) so 9am NZ kick off (according to AllBlacks.com) = 7am Seednee.
It appears we have:
Napoli v Lazio in Serie A
Las Palmas v Eibar in La Liga
Flamengo v Botafogo in BrasileiraoI understand their primary audience is likely to be catered for in the above but am not sure either of the 2nd or 3rd games would be expected to rate highly.
The above three games are followed by half hour magazine programs:
Bundesliga Special - The Best of October
La Liga World
FootbrazilThen more Bundesliga: Bayern v Hoffenhein
EFl (not EPL): Burton v Barnsley
and more Brazil - Sao Paolo v CorinthansIt's definitely a soccer channel - fair enough - but it would be good if they could make it available somewhere/somehow.
Where's that email address??
-
-
Bein support responded within 20 minutes, which is pretty good, unfortunately not with good news
*Thanks for your email.
Unfortunately, we can't confirm the rights for the All Blacks Northern Tour for November.
I'll advise you to contact Foxtel directly for more information about these games.
For more scheduling information, please visit our TV Guide.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Charlie*
