Off topic, but it seems related to violence in the context of rugby.
I don't read Spanish, so I've used an online translator; you'll get the meaning of it, even if it's bad English.
Does anyone know why the Argentinian rugby union has published this?
05.10.2016 / Institutional Press the Argentina Rugby Union As is public knowledge, society as a whole is going through a situation of violence and the responsibility, as it is for the educated and civilised behaviour that a person must have for anyone else, we understand, comes from within the home. Rugby, like any other social activity, is not exempt because it is part of society. Put rugby as aggressor or hold him accountable for the behaviour - off-field and outside the context of sport - of some people who have full understanding of their actions and therefore are responsible for them, is reckless and stigmatising. Rugby does not teach anything like that. Quite contrary, it rejects it. For this reason, the UAR condemns with the utmost rigour this and all types of violence of any kind occurring in society, because it is part of it, regardless of whether or involved playing rugby any sport or even without being part of any sport. We insist: The UAR expressed its complete rejection and strongly condemns all these acts that have nothing to do with civilised behaviour of people who intend to live in society. Whether or not that rugby players involved in any reprehensible act is or should be somewhat anecdotal, not central. The real causes have to do with the lack of values ββin general and education levels a while now. The education of our players comes first from their familial environment and then schools. Rugby, through clubs, is a partner in the training of people. Rugby never get tired of promoting and disclosing all values, we understand, besides rugby should be the whole society as a whole.

Violence? Excuse me? Are on the right thread you dick?
I said it was off topic. It was 1.30am when I posted that and I couldn't be bothered to look for the Losi Filipo thread.
Surprisingly lackadaisical attitude from the Thread Hall Monitor.

Well, I am going to overreact to the overreaction and take the moral high ground over the people on the moral high ground. Shameful display of prudish douchbaggery from a lot of people. The human garbage who recorded it (well said Jegga) needs to be publicly flogged and the people "outraged" need therapy. The mothers who whine, "How am I going to explain this to my kids?", I quote CK Louis, " I don't know, It's your shitty kid. Why is that anyone else's problem?".
I am embarrassed that NZ is acting just like Murica did when Janet's boob fell out. When is consensual sex between adults a social issue?Aaron....you personally fucked up big time, was a bit of an arse to desperate disabled people, and got a few demerit points professionally but that is nothing to do with me. Good luck.
Awesome post.

@mariner4life Because I wanted to know what it was about. I asked a question. Chill.

@Stargazer wtf are you on about? did you watch it, no way would anyone recognize her form the image they posted.
You really are a picky little fluffybunny arent you!
Apparently, bolding the word 'him' is too subtle for you?
I meant Smith. He's a man-slut from all I've heard about him over the years.
Dude, the word is "stud".........how can you not know that ? sounds like someone needs a bit of impromptu toilet action.
Hey old timer, no-one under 35 uses that word anymore.
It's called "skux" these days. -
Watching the cringeworthy statement from Smith where he was quite upset (seriously, why did they make him do that?), it reminded me of another world class player that decided to leave NZ because it was too much of a fishbowl: Carl Hayman.
I hope we haven't chased away the best halfback we've had since Bachop because of some click hungry hacks and a couple of perverts who decided to record this incident.
-
@Kirwan I bet half our media are already camped out at International arrivals just incase they got the flight time wrong and dont wanna miss the chance of asking him if he regrets it, or has he spoken to his partner or some other fucking ridiculous question.
Need to back off and give the guy time and space to sort it out with his partner, the matter is not a national one, but a private one.

That tearful apology was just awful. For him, for the AB's, for his friends and family. This is so out of control. The only people he owed an apology to was his girlfriend and the NZRU for being a douchebag when on duty. Everyone else can fuck off. Jesus, the lynch mob have got their pound of flesh for this, it makes me want to punch the recording couple in the face for being the catalyst that inflicted this bullshit on the country.

@jegga I hear you - I can confirm that it is first rate behaviour from the Simon Dallow wearing his private citizen hat. But when he says it disapprovingly wearing his broadcaster hat (PS I didn't dare watch the news last night) then nobodies like me can snigger at him and point to his own life, which to me somewhat lessens the criticism of Smith.
10 years ago (or whenever his missus left him) Simon Dallow was a party joke. He was "taunted and booed until my throat is sore" (c) Simpson, H. 1994 - the episode in which Lisa reluctantly plays ice hockey and turns out to be star, and Homer pits her against Bart for his affections.
I suspect in private Dallow's thoughts about the Smith incident were "big fucking deal" or "shit, I remember nailing blondie X in the level three toilet at Friday drinks and it wasn't that comfortable but I got there in the end" or "I hope that viewer Tregaskis doesn't remember some shit about me".
However, he is not allowed to say "Nope boss, I don't want to raise my eyebrows or finish any of Wendy Petrie's paragraphs in this entire segment" because it was the lead-off batter in the "news" last night.

Awesome work from the NZ media. Just when I thought they couldn't sink any lower with the Filipo story they've knocked this out of the fucking park. If I meet anyone that works in the media for One News, 3 news, Herald or Stuff I'm going to kick them in the balls as hard as I can on behalf of all sensible NZers.
-
@No-Quarter in the world of NZs journos a guy who stands with his wife and baby outside a toilet recording the sounds of consenting adults fucking deserves no scrutiny but Aaron Smith apparently owes us an apology.
But wait whats this ? journos are the least trusted people in NZ ? http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=11462191

I see they've left no stone unturned in their quest to keep the story going. Turns out that young, rich, famous, athletic guys are always going to be a target of female attention according to Luke McAllisters ex wife....fuck, never would have guessed that......

It amazes me how out of touch with NZ our media circle jerk is, fapping over Nicky Hagars bullshit, thinking anyone gives a fuck that Hillary Barrys changing jobs and two days later stuff actually starts to get who the real bad guys are here
-
THey could have done it with a while heap more class than they did...Smith gets shown as being classless for shagging a chick in a toilet, and only now they are realising the error of thier ways for recording 2 people having sex in a toilet.
Although....the husband thought it was amusing
The husband said he found it quite amusing and wasn't too worried about what Smith had done.
"I almost feel bad for putting the poor bloke in it now," he wrote in an email. But the Missus wanted her 2 minutes in the limelight...
But the wife wanted to speak out, saying the more she thought about it the angrier she became.
"I've never actually reported anything to a newspaper or anything. We don't want to convey the fact that we're narking or gossiping about his private life. It's kinda beside the point." -
Good thing my meagre talent prevented me from representing New Zealand at rugby given my behaviour over the years. I mean, a disabled toilet? What an amateur. Try the halfway line of the Penrith football stadium, the Opera House steps, Royal Botanic gardens and Manly beach, and these were classy girls. Imagine the uproar if someone caught me nailing the tarts.

@antipodean Probably almost as bad as if someone discovered where they're buried?
