@Catogrande I’m pretty sure after RWC 15, he said no thanks not applying. And it is a completely different type of coaching.
Go the South West, too, with Brizzul and Executur Euro champs. They both might be in Prem final too!

Does anyone know whether Owen Franks will return to Northampton Saints when the new Premiership season starts? I noticed he's just returned to NZ (in managed isolation).
-
@Stargazer Still listed as a Saints player website. Their next game isn't until 20th November.
-
@Stargazer nah none for NZ

There are none, but it depends on where he changes planes as well.

@Catogrande Rob Baxter: Exeter boss may have England ambition says Chiefs chairman Tony Rowe
-
@sparky I saw that and was going to post but you beat me to it
Doesn't really say much apart from Tony Rowe's opinion which may depend on gin consumption - he does like a drop does Tony.
-
@Catogrande My reading of it is that Baxter is going nowhere for the next year. He wants to retain the HEC for Exeter. He might eventually apply for the England job (when there is a vacancy) but he might not.

Wasps at risk for not being allowed to take part in the Premiership Final because of positive COVID tests.

Another good one

@Catogrande Thought Bristol Bears' statement was classy.

Yeah, pretty much what you’d expect from a Lam/Luatua combination

Inside a bat.

13-10 to Exeter at half time in Premiership Final. Wasps still in it. Some seriously heavy rain.
-
13-13. 20 to go. Some great skill from Lima Sopoaga at Fullback. Stopped a penalty going out. Kicked it pass Ollie Devoto then won the penalty.

@sparky Wasps has a high kiwi content, Ali their points by Gopperth and Umaga
Jacob Umaga's a Pom.
-
Exeter Chiefs with a kickable penalty. 16-13.
-
Dan Robson having a good game at Half Back for Wasps.
-
Cracking touch funder by Umaga. These guys are not handling the wet that well, for poms!
-
How many players are in that maul?
-
Wasps penalty five out. But don't take the kick at the posts.
-
Lineout messed up by Wasps. Odd option to go to the tail in such wet conditions.
-
Last three minutes. Exeter should be able to close this out.

And they do on the back of three line outs> mauls>penalty until they're able to take the kick inside the 22, time up. 19-13
-
Finished 19-13. Congratulations to Exeter on the double.

Watching La Rochelle v Bordeaux. Tawera Kerr-Barlow playing well.

I stopped after the second try 😂

Pauliasi Manu has left Hino Red Dolphins. Haven't seen yet where's he's going next or whether he's hanging up his boots.

Two red cards in the Challenge Cup game between Stade Français and Benetton Treviso, which Treviso won 44 to 20.
Stade Français' loosie Charlie Rorke grabbed Treviso winger Leornardo Sarto's genitals; Sarto reacted by punching/striking Rorke.
If found guilty (and it's hard to see why he won't be), Rorke will get a suspension of at least 6 weeks (and that's only if they start at the lower end of the range and he gets the full deduction). I wouldn't mind if they started at the top-end for that kind of sh*t.
Sarto, IMO it was self-defence and shouldn't get any suspension for punching/striking.But if they think he's guilty of offending, then he could be banned for 3 weeks (if mid-range 6 weeks, with full 50% reduction).
Judge for yourselves. -

@Stargazer hard to tell from that clip if he actually got hold of his gear, but looked like that was the intent of his grab
As for the retaliation, YC IMO.

Caught a bit of Bristol versing Clermont yesterday.
Think Moala got motm.
-
@Bones I watched that game, last night. Entertaining game. It looked like Clermont was going to give Bristol a terrible hiding, but they took their foot of the throat in the second half and let Bristol come back. It was a try fest with lots of running rugby, but terrible defence, leading to a final score of 51 - 38 (to Clermont). Indeed, Moala was named MotM. Bumping off quite a few opponents.
