Ha ha. Perez eliminated from sprint. Along with tsunoda. Verstappen through. And some kiwi lad called Lawson.
Bearman (sp) and Lawson smoking the old fellas in supposedly second rate cars.
Clearly F1 is a young man's game

Ha ha. Wet weather playing havoc with qualification. Sayonara Perez and Verstappen. Lawson into q3.

In the lower formulas, Lawson has always had the rep that he excelled in the wet

He’s keeps getting good times when he’s in the elimination zone. Shows steel and good concentration.

In surprising news Verstappen is blaming something.
-
Our compatriot starts 5th on grid. Survival of the wettest.

Classic eh, if he was in front of the crash and got red flagged, he'd moan about that.

Tsunoda in P3, so the young kids of VCARB had a good morning

Much as I don’t like him O for awesome for Verstappen. But Lawson great finishing 9 holding off Hamilton and most importantly Perez for 15 odd laps. Insane race.
-
@Billy-Tell 17th to a fifth of a lap faster than anyone else. Ridiculous.

Yeah, much as I hate the way he drives, rain really evens out the differences in car performance, leaving driver talent to shine.
He reminds me of Schumacher a bit. The best driver, but also a total psychopath who will do anything to win. Sometimes I wonder if Senna and Schumacher's legacies actually do more damage to F1 by encouraging drivers to think anything is okay to get the win.
