@booboo Ahead of Perofeta. Easily our second best attacking fullback behind Jordan and the best under the high ball.
Love has "it".
Same as Roigard.
They pass the eye test.
Love could be thrown in at 10 or FB and he wouldnt let you down. Classy.

Man I want to see Love and Jordan together but Love at 15 and Jordan on the wing.
We need that effervescence in the team.
-
Positives:
- Roigard's 1st Test since injury and he went OK
- Aumua (except esrly throwing)
- DMac's defence
- Telea showing some form
- Pat T's breakdown work
- Wallace confirming he's starting XV material
Negatives
- Poor defence
- Lack of focus - particularity in second half
- Scrum didn't dominate
- Poor kick options - esp.DMAC
-
No Mils, TJ isn’t better than Roigard ffs.
-
so we haven't gotten rid of that final 20 curse, we were told that they'd fixed it in the final bledisloe...

2 tries?

A lot of praise for Love for scoring two pretty regulation tries...
Don't disagree that he's a talent but if everyone had the same expectations for Tele'a and Reece then they would have been blown away by some of the things they did today.
My biggest pain with the ABs atm is persisting with guys that are clearly past it. We need to move on from Cane, Perenara, Havili etc. There is clearly enough talent for us to cope so why not build for the future.

Agree with most of that, buggered if I know what the defence coach is doing! It's not bad tackling, but just not being set in a defence pattern.

A load of tries there for Kirsty and Goldie to wax lyrical over, the week before we get our arses handed to us over 3 consecutive weekends.
Before they hyperventilate with excitement, can someone tell them it's only Japan, they are ranked 14th in the world and coached by a guy on a sinecure?

Sometimes, classy players make things happen. He strikes me as one of those players. Like young Beaudy or Will Jordan. The ball bounces his way as he is so sharp off the mark.
Perofeta has had ample time to score some "regulation tries" and hasnt.
-
@Victor-Meldrew That's fair. I'd add Ruben Love coming on, making his debut and showing his class to the positives.

All in all a bit of an average game, I know not top team etc, but a combination of a real crap field and not a lot of connection in either team left me thinking it not a test I'll remember for a long time.
Did you and @Bones enjoy the game together?

And we can see that the likes of Sititi, Tosi, Ratima, Love are not over awed when given the chance.
We have been too conservative at the selection table for about 5 years now.
The likes of TJP and Beaudy are albatrosses around our necks at this stage.
Let the young lads cook.

Wheeler: You must be extremely proud?
Does he have an acquired brain injury or is that written in his contract to have his tongue shoved that far up the AB coach's arse?
