All Blacks vs Wallabies 2

If they have the mindset that it's normal to rotate from the bench like SA do players won't leave.
It's when they are left out for half a year then they get disillusioned.
Sititi deserves to start at 8.
Savea could impact off the bench at 6, 7 or 8 -

@Victor-Meldrew so if he tried new combinations and they lose, you’re ok with that?
Provided there's progress and it's a calculated risk, then yes.
Can't make an omelette without breaking eggs.

Yeah in the context of this season, what's another loss of we're actually building depth and/or finding out if guys are worth it? Chances are though it'll be wholesale changes so they can confirm to themselves they've been making the right decisions all along when it doesn't work.

I'm still glass half full we played some bloody good rugby at times.
But FGS try:
Love 15
JB - Proctor
Start Williams
Sititi starts 8 if he wants to.Ardie could be a great impact sub.
Love is out for a month or so
But otherwise I agree with all of that.

While there are players who are going well and things like the scrums go well for 3-4 games and then drop off. There's no consistency almost across the park so there isn't a stable platform to work from.
It's a bloody mess so nothing to be lost from throwing a few curve balls.

@Victor-Meldrew nah man. So chuck in Plummer with Hotham at halfback and Jacobson at 8, Havili at 12? Doesn't sound like a fair chance to me.

Oh, I'm not saying go that far. More like start Proctor to see how he goes with JB, give Hotham and Plummer some game time and maybe LJ at 7 (he was pretty good there in SR)

Yeah I'm saying that's what I'd expect from this group and I'll be mildly surprised if it's actually a proper attempt to build depth and do discovery.

Ah gotcha. Good point.

Something is out of whack, we are almost getting to the Irish series level on the field, players look stressed and quiet out there.
You can see there trying play this fast game from the get go, but I'd like them flip it, play more traditional test rugby and then bring that fast game in the last 20-30 mins, use positional players first 50 then bring on all the outside backs and hybrid loosies.
-
Compared to 2-3 years ago they are creating much more opportunities to score tries.
It's almost as if they are trying too hard and pushing miracle passes at times.
Strong leadership would sort a lot of this out. Calm TF down. We have the ability on the whole.
I am optimistic. There's too many good young players coming through not to be. -
