Tahs pack could look like this:
- Bell
- Porecki
- Tupou
- Grant
- Amatasero
- Leota
- Gamble
- Gleeson
With some handy reserves in the front row at least - should they stay healthy.
16. Heaven
17. Lambert
18. RossNo Jed Holloway?
Aussie teams will defs be stronger next year.
The Queensland Reds now have four Wallabie locks, a very good loose forwaard trio and plenty of international experience in the front row.

With Dan McKellar joining the club as Head Coach for the next three years, he will be ably supported by new assistant coaches Mike Catt OBE, Dan Palmer, and Lachlan McCaffrey. Catt OBE, who played 75 Tests for England in a distinguished playing career, will be the Assistant Coach for attack. After retiring from playing, the 2003 World Cup winner has enhanced the attack for London Irish, England, Italy, and Ireland. Palmer will be the Assistant Coach for set piece. Palmer has worked with McKellar previously at the ACT Brumbies and the Leicester Tigers, and has coached Australia A. Palmer has also donned the sky blue jersey as a player from 2008-10 and played for the Wallabies in 2012. McCaffrey, another former Waratah, will be the Assistant Coach for defence. McCaffrey was mentored by McKellar during his time with the Brumbies and has also experienced the different playing styles in the UK, Japan, and America. Since transitioning into coaching, McCaffrey has been the Assistant Coach for Otago and the Head Coach for the Gungahlin Eagles.

That’s a shame. He’s good enough to be in a NZ SR squad. Still only 22

Former Rebels prop Sam Talakai moving on to the URC to join the Glasgow Warriors. While the Waratahs have picked up former Rebel and current Wallabies prop Isaac Kailea. Not a bad haul at prop for the Tahs this offseason when you factor in they’ve picked up Tupou as well.

I think this article is trying to say because RA will get $100M guaranteed out of the World Cup and because 9/Stan will be issued the World Cup broadcasting rights that 9/Stan are more likely to come to the table for the 2026-2030 broadcasting negotiations (the 2027 World Cup is negotiated separately with World Rugby and isn't part of the 2026-2030 broadcast negotiations for RA and 9/Stan or Foxtel or whoever else)
Christy Doran can't actually structure an article properly.
It's all over the place

Interesting, after basing himself back in Wellington I'm surprised the Canes didn't look at him for his versatility. The fact he hasn't been able to crack the top Wellington side may have put them off as he does look short of a gallop.

@NTA what's RA's stance on picking from within non Aussie teams within SR ?
Or is he looking to switch countries?
