    We've picked four opensides. Unbelievable.

They're either very confident in doubling down with that loose forward trio, or they're on track for Robertson to be the first one-year All Blacks coach of the modern era.

So far, watching Ethan Blackadder at Test level is like watching Internet Explorer trying to keep up in 2024.

This team inspires even less confidence than the team that got beaten last weekend.

Fucking hell. The only bright spot in that is the selection of Clarke. Looking forward to an honest explanation of why we've gone with the same loose forwards and it better not be "an opportunity to demonstrate they're better than last week". Why TJ again after his last performance?

And why with Dalton and Ethan on the park do we have Sam on the bench?

I'm rapidly yearning for 2023 Foster era.

so all that shit we saw really didn't happen, it was all EdG, Sititi and Reece's fault all along (even when it was the bears i knew it was the reserve #8 who played blindside).

That is fucking hilarious. I note the hugely underwhelming big dumb lump at 12 remains completely imune from accountability? There are a number of players who can consider themselves lucky for the fact that playing poorly no longer affects your selection

I can’t wait to see what impact an ageing Sam Cane brings to the table

Jordie is seriously living on the “still better than Havili” reputation that’s for sure.

I think this team naming begins to show a rather disturbing trend which is the same one that Fozzie got lambasted for.

Robertson has his favourites that are going to be named in the team no matter what, regardless of their form - or the form of other players.

Lord, Blackadder, Cane simply shouldn't be there at all on form, i can appreciate that you give them a go because you believe they fit "your pattern" better than other players but when

    A) Your pattern results in record losses and
b ) Those aformentioned players simply look awful in it

You would a coaching genius might take time to pause and reconsider and maybe revert to a radical ploy of maybe just naming the best players in each position??

Should have kept Sititi on the bench, he's been one of the bright lights.

So who plays 8 if Savea gets injured? Imagine Cane running off the back of a scrum.

Should have kept Sititi on the bench, he's been one of the bright lights.

What I noticed last week and @pakman detailed review also highlighted it especially when I watched it a second time was that pace to the ruck in the last quarter is still very important.

Sititi was very good at getting to the spots we needed but his inaccuracy was costly. i don’t know if that is the reason he has been rotated out but bringing in a guy who’s accuracy has been a feature of his play over many years isn’t a bad idea.

This 11-15 was pretty successful last year and now that every one is over their injuries hopefully they can be a little more accurate.

Very surprised by the TJP selection. But that’s a story for another day.

Based on last week he had the brightness of a glow worm at 500m. Behind a shade cloth.
