I have been a fan of Ethan Blackadder but to see him barrelled over by the ball carrier in the incident where he nearly got a yellow was stark.

Cane, Collins, Kaino et al would have emptied that fella, or at least stop him dead in his tracks.

And then it WOULD have been a yellow.
Being a pussy, kept him on the field. Gardner used slightly different words, but... that was what he meant.

I've never seen that before from an AB. His lack of physicality in that moment was jarring

You've never seen an All Black bumped off before?

    So does Denton vs McCaw.

It takes a hard Zimbabwean Scotsman to knock over the GOAT

@sparky two marshmallows who have had plenty of opportunities and did nothing? No thanks

Seems to me people forget Akira has had good games in Black and proved this year he can focus and play a tight hard game.

Beaudy got massive raps for changing the game against England.

He basically made a line break outside Maro Itoje and inside the oil tanker Freddie Steward who actually had his back to him and was marshalling the outside man.

People were talking like it was Christian Cullen incarnate.

The intention was moreso just to have round pegs in round holes.

But I like it even more now that there is a built in cohesion factor.

I wanted Finau to tackle and catch lineouts. Cane to Tackle.
    Sititi to carry.

Cortez to suck in their D with the odd snipe and buy Damien some time , with quicker ball an added plus.

Grunt at 12. The hot hand at 13.

    A ball carrier at 11.

Pace at 15. (For me this is non negotiable).

The status quo is not good enough and something has to change.

Play like the Blues and half our problems will be solved, and select players who can deliver on that game plan. The problem with NZ rugby is this constant need for mobility, and as a result we ignore our bigger athletes. I wonder if Cunningham-South would have even been considered for the ABs had he remained in NZ. Probably not, they would have said that he's too slow etc. Need a shift in mindset, we need more power athletes going forward.

I expect some changes coming one might be BB to first five which makes me very nervous,Jordan to FB and Ratima to HB I can see that happening but not much else.
    Maybe Clarke for Reece.
Razor did pin point the Savea and D Mac fuck up passes which led to the Argies try as being the pivotal losing point in the match.
Him highlighting that may cost some one a starting spot.

That's certainly one way to spin it.

Bad error? Yes. Compounded by another bad error? Also yes.
Pivotal losing point? Come the fuck on.

The complete inability of our forwards to thrn defend that situation is a bigger concern than a couple of individual judgement and skill errors. Errors that came about because our overall mindset was "fast and wide always"
