Where did the independent rower come from? Ridiculous final 300m to take 3rd
He was the rower who caused the delay in the start time.
Infusing a bag of blood takes time

Josh Armit finishes 4th overall in the Men's Windsurfing. Windsurfing is a bit stupid in my view. Instead of having one medal race to decide the medalists like all other fleets, they have a quarter, a semi and then a final based on seedings from the round-robin. Josh went straight through to the semi final because he placed third in the round-robin but a third placing in the semi means he misses out on the top three final.
Super guttering for him. Kind of makes the round-robin somewhat meaningless which is just bizzare if you're familiar with sailing comp structures.

Again not defending her and hate this absurd pantamime surrounding her, but whatever she was taking (whether deliberate or not) was not in the same league as this fella.
Pan wasn't amongst the 23 Chinese swimmers who tested positive, and the article I read says he was tested 21 times in July.
Well that settles it then. Nobody has ever evaded doping tests.

Is there any evidence against the Chinese swimmer…or is just that he’s Chinese?
And the tiny fact that he won by that margin with that time. That raises red flags regardless of his nationality.

They looked gone. But the beauty of the scoring system saw them somehow get to the second set tie breaker, win that and took momentum into the deciding super tie breaker. The yanks almost saved 4 gold medal points but failed on the last. The 40 year old Ram was gutted beyond belief. They should have won but couldn't serve it out when they had the chance. They just couldn't get some first serves in

The Dutch anchor in the mixed 4 x 100 is arguably the best run I’ve ever seen.
Incredible.
