I doubt I'll even watch this game. I can't see it being good.
the type of rugby they play can create epics when there is something on the line (RWC pool match) but when the stakes aren't as high, I think it will exponentially highlight everything that I believe is wrong with rugby.

I see your point but if the Irish beat the RWC reigning champions I doubt they'll be very quiet about it...

I follow literally zero coverage of Irish rugby so they can be as noisy about it as they want, but I won't see it!

@pakman only in the eye of a rugby loving beholder.
Ease off. Suggesting I'm not a rugby loving beholder is bit sad. Rugby used to come in a lot of different formats and I love a scrum smash up as much as anybody.
I just preferred people like Aki when he was 15kg lighter, and front rows trying to hold it all together at the 70th minute mark when shit starts getting real, as opposed to being close to 30 minutes sitting on their arse on the sidelines.

Personal attack followed by a shit meme sums you up very well Bones.
Thanks 😍 it was really personal too eh. You're being that guy coming to post in a thread about how shit the topic is, when you don't even fucking care.
You're the guy going into the star Trek thread to say star Trek is shit and then continuing to post about it.
-
You ok, hun?
This thread was dead, it's the number 1 vs number 2, including the current world champs. It should be humming. I've thrown out some discussion points, with some personal opinions which posters have rebutted. Who knows if I'll watch it, does it matter? Forecast is rain, so if golf is cancelled, I probably will. What does that make me then? I cannot wait to hear your dissection on that.
You're now coming close to matching the number of posts on some weird personal attack all about a throwaway line used to highlight the lack of interest in the game. And bringing Star Trek into it? WTF?
Maybe I'll be wrong, maybe it'll be like the WC game, which was an absolute pearler. If it is, then I expect Smuts to point it out to me, I'll agree, and life will go on ...

🤣 I'm not the one being a whiny bitch about imagined personal attacks. Wow what an attack. Labour in effect already.

If this is wrong I don’t want to be right:
Irish tighthead was in trouble from the start. SA loosehead didn't even have to start with his arse pointing at the sideline.
Is this because one had played a half of rugby already? Probably a discussion better suited to https://www.forum.thesilverfern.com/topic/5422/the-current-state-of-rugby/1517 but in my mind substitutions should only be for injury.
