Personal, Bower, Bell, Va'ai, Sititi, Cane, Blackadder, Havilli, and even Narewa would be 50/50 only , And on Sititi way to early, he was out played last night
I agree with a bunch of those. If Sititi played himself into AB contention in Wellington, for now the final should count against him. Sotutu has been strong all season. Cane could help with leadership transition, but our loosies stocks are strong and it feels like an opportunity lost to try out another player who could be a find for the next 4 years.

So much for Razor picking the best players.
Picking players for a game plan maybe not who everyone thinks is the best players in each position.
It will be interesting to see how the ABs are going to play.plus 4 players to be added for the RC squad which is 36 players some may also get dropped out.
-
@Canes4life what if the ones he picks
are who he and his coaching team thinks are the best players? -

Very average based on a few of those selections.

The Blues showed the kind of game plan that will work vs teams like England and the Boks. We've been too loose for too long

Has Harry Plummer done enough to be a third choice No.10?
He's shown more than Beaudy has in six years. If anyone misses out it should be Beauden. That won't happen though.

Surely Razor was there last night?

If Razor doesn't pick the best looseforward in the country this Super season, then I have very low expectations from the ABs this year.
The bane of the Foster era was conservative selections when players put their hands up. No point having the most talented players in the world if you don't pick them.
Lam has done enough to get ahead of the epitome of mid Havilli for example. How many times does a player have to fail to impress at Test level before you move on?
-
As good as Narawa was in the semi, he turned over a lot of ball throwing 50/50s last night. Not what I want my wingers to be doing. Reece gets the nod over him for me, and Clark has been very mature and confident this season which could push him into the frame

I think Clarke has nailed himself to the 11, and I would start Reece at 14 over Telea. I think MT has been nursing an injury, as the last month he's been less effective.

I’m hoping 27

Noticed that too.
The only time I have noticed him is when he tries to (mostly rather ineffectively) make meters from playing halfback at the ruck.If it weren't for his previous experience, he would not have been picked based on this year's form.

I will be very interested in Razor's comments about the squad - hopefully he hints at players on the radar that will get a look in later in the year.
The one that I would have the most issues with is Havili. If you pick him as a 10 there are better options if you pick him as a 12 there are better options if you pick him as a 15 there are better options if you pick him as a utility there are better options.
