Has anyone got any genuine bolter picks for the All Blacks? Guys who've not been widely discussed as possible selections (e.g. Lakai, Love, Ratima, Plummer).

I've said it before - and just to be clear I think it's a pretty slim chance - but I think Rameka Poihipi could have caught the eye, though would probably have a better chance if he'd played a few more games at 10 this year.

Otherwise, think a young 10 or lock could get a surprise summons.

With a squad of 32 I don't think there will be any true bolters, those not discussed. For the NH tour more likely, or even the trip to SA to give a few the experience of touring even if they don't get to the field

No bolters for me other than the new guys being discussed in Lakai, Darry, Plummer, Ratima, Proctor, Love and Riccitelli.

He could be like a good version of David Havilli, covering multiple positions from the bench.

I like it. In place if one of the midfielders or an outside back?

I agree AJ could squeeze in as an Ennor like player. A really useful bench option covering 11/12/13/14. Probably the 12 who plays most like Jordie too

Room for a bolter at hooker.

Riccitelli is the obvious choice - but, he's pretty small for an international hooker, so I could see them going past him.

Can't really comment on many of the other options outside the Crusaders - but, I don't think George Bell is ready, so I'll chuck in Brodie McAlister, who didn't play much and his most memorable play was a duff lineout throw - but, he's been decent enough in previous years.

Seems to be a fair bit of consensus (or resignation) that the halfbacks will be TJ, Christie and Ratima - but, it probably wouldn't be that surprising if they picked another of the young guys.

On the midfield - last time I saw Dave Havili he was wandering off the field with what looked like a torn pectoral muscle and last time I saw Billy Proctor he looked like he had cracked ribs - so there could be a very open space there.

Hopefully Billy didn't do any damage and it's just bruising.

i normally dont expect true Bolters for a home series, are they not more common for a touring squad that cant replace people so easily?

Isn't he off to league? That probably didn't help his chances.

Tavayavanawai wouldn't look out of place, and would be a true bolter.

Plenty of established talent to get past though

Can't see that happening with all the other wing talent running around.

Another bolter and probably big outside chance is Marcel Renata, but under Vern he's making some serious noise
