@Dan54 sadly, this is inevitable, people want and expect to know, if they dont, they speculate, as seems the case on several posts about his passing on SM.
Various ones do say a medical event, but either way, this is so sad for his whanau.
Yep mat, I probably just being over sensitive, I had youngest sister pass away with Brain Anarysm 6 weeks back, and wifes nehew 2 weeks ago. He had 3 kids, and to be honest I just maybe feeling a touch sensitive about it all. Wasn't really trying to get at anyone.
Condolances to you and your family mate, that's awful news.

RIP. Very sad news.

Very sad news. Nga whakaaro me nga inoi ki tona whanau
It was against the good guys but CGB was on the end of a great try for the Landers.

Had a bit to do with him when he was a colt. Had a smile that would light up the room. Was a cheeky bugger. Very confident kid, not cocky. But the kid loved his footy and worked his arse off.
Bloody gutted when I heard this today.
25 is too young to die. Hug your kids and tell them you love them. Just don’t know when our time is up. -
What I particularly hate with incidents such as this, are the cookers crawling out from their holes automatically blaming COVID vaccines. This is an ezceptionally sad day for his friends, family and supporters. A close examination of cause, and pushing conspiracy theories is just shithouse.

An absolute tragedy for his family and loons latching onto that tragedy is disgusting.
Fatal illness in very fit, healthy young people such as Sudden Cardiac Arrest is a lot more common than people think.

Had a medical event and passed. Sounds like some sort of heart issue.
Cardiologist neighbour tells me sudden heart attacks are the single biggest cause of death in top-level sports. Thinks around 50-70 die in the UK each year.

I'm not a proper athlete, but when I had a stroke in my early 30s I was shocked to hear how often it (and heart attacks) happen to young(er) people.

I guess when you push your body to the limit, sometimes it breaks

I didn't understand everything, but from what he said, it's really hard to detect abnormalities when people are uber-fit, but abnormalities can manifest quite quickly.

Also getting fit/strong is caused by micro-tears in your muscles (including heart) repairing and growing stronger. Sometimes they don't repair if you never give them enough time - ultra distance types are very susceptible. Same reason vegetables are good for you, the reason they are a bit bitter is they are very slightly poisonous, but if you don't overdose (hard to) your body gets stronger fighting against it - along with all the vitamins etc Well it's a theory anyway

Sounds like a brain aneurysm in his sleep
