With the first three QFs being non-competitive blow outs should Super Rugby just culminate with SF and F?
-
@MiketheSnow Or a top 6?

Next year it is likely to be 3v6 and 4v5 whilst 1 and 2 get a week off.

@African-Monkey More that the punters think the Chiefs are much more likely to beat the Canes than the Brumbies to knock you guys out.

Chiefs could have the injury door pathway opened for them with both Canes and (assuming we win) the Blues.
The titles count no matter what though! And good luck against the Canes

anyone see attendance figures for the QF's?
-
@Kiwiwomble not sure what Chiefs got but roughly I think I saw Blues got 18k, Canes got 15k and Brumbies got 8k

I have dominant tackles for each match. Unfortunately I don't have season counts for that though
Could you share this? Shouldn't be too hard to total them up.

There's a couple of manual steps to get to the match stats.. unfortunately it would take a while to open them all
Dominant tackles is a weird stat too. I'm not sure what the exact definition is. I remember a couple of Cane hits during the RWC thhat didn't register. Then there's the tactical difference where some teams opt to hold up the ball carrier more often

@Tim where do these deluded clowns think money is going to come from to prop up the game in Oz? I've read stupid ideas that a national club championship can be funded from SR. Ding ding ding dickhead - the SR clubs are on the bones of their arses; there's no spare cash to fund another tier at the moment.
Then another comment suggesting a semi-pro competition could see the Wallabies rise to fifth in world rankings. It seems The Roar comments section is for people who've been touched in the head. Then one of them wins a prize and gets to write an article.
The inevitable sadness of being raised during a golden period and then the reality of middle age and return to the norm sets in.
-
@antipodean It is truly delusional. Half of them think that Shute Shield will prepare players for test rugby.
-
@Tim I have actually just replied to that column mate, and said basically I see he suggests pulling plug on super for Aus teams as they not making grand final, so to be consistent, I assume he wants Wallabies out of WC too?
And no more Bledisloe cup games, perhaps Wallabies should just play Island teams and Japan etc?
Just amazes me writers/etc from anywhere suggesting it's too hard, so lets just play ourselves. -

Kiwis don't care. Well 30k already sold for other semi, more to the point kiwis don't want to watch a foregone conclusion (tho I do, as I get stressed about live games, I love a smashing!). Git gud Ozzie, ffs, we need it
