The reports of Taukei'aho's demise have been greatly exaggerated.

As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, AB’s will be written off based on early-mid super season form.

Too right. Bell, Grace, Blackadder, Lio-Willie, Hotham, Havili, McLeod, Aumua. All cast aside, but not for the ABs!

Just watched on delay after getting home from work drinks. Deserved win to the Chiefs after dominating spell in the first 25mins.

Players the AB coaches would've been watching who did their cause no harm at all were Taukei'aho, Vaa'i , Finau, Sititi, Ratima, ALB and ENS.

Also nice to see them recognise Sam Cane in the manner they did. Clearly respected and loved by Chiefs players.

    Hope Razor is watching Finau

Pick any of your top 3 in any position, Razor.

    Wallabies won't get within 20

I'm interested in tier 1 opposition

    You won't get it here

you will if it is spelt "tear one here"...

I love watching the Chiefs team when they are on song. This is tempered by the Waikato region, the Tron, and the vile bogan supporters here on the fern and in the stands.
DMac, Samisoni, Finau, ALB, and Jacobson were superb.

I was not impressed with ALB's two intercepts, taking too many steps before kick pass and a unneeded no look pass. A better team, especially an international team, would not be squandering those opportunities. Just poor decisions

Sititi was outstanding. Great work rate, power and pace. Missed one easy tackle in the second spell but he was my MOTM.

huge defensive effort by the chiefs. 11 players with ten or more tackles (LJ with 22) with those players missing 11 between them(finau with 4)

Sotutu has the edge on him based on experience, but he seems a touch more direct and powerful.

Probably the best performance the Chiefs have put on all year, very impressive. Getting into good form at the right end of the season (he says in the hope it's just not a flash in the pan).

Should be a cracking game next week V the canes.

Interesting that Kaleb Trask is doing promotional stuff at the stadium as a Chiefs player on their social.

I'm just getting to reading this thread now, but Trask has been shown in training photos over the last couple of weeks. He must be getting closer to playing again, club rugby that is.

Looks like Poihipi has moved into 10.

Yes, the backline all moved in one position with Tupaea on the wing.

From my view in the stands it was very obvious that the Chiefs were much more aggressive at the breakdown than in recent weeks. That led to turnovers and penalties. Stevenson's kicking and running game was much better too, probably an indication of being closer to 100% fit.

And we finally got some love from BOK.

DMac Spent quite a lot of time [EDIT:] hanging around in 10 spot.
