That was a funny replay, commentators "yeah look for the drop"
Very marginal drop
"Yeah there it is"It's bog standard fare these days. They'll YC practically anything but look to find any excuse to not escalate it to a RC, even with the 20 min rule.
Except last week for Canes

Try time Moana. The Inisi boys are playing well.

Gardner looking for any reason not to award the try
That he was too late getting around for
How the fuck did he see a knock on eh?

It would be great to get to a point where players aren't being carded every two seconds.

Both were players being dumb fluffybunnies

Does MP have a prop injury issue as well? Looks like Kepu started.

The number of dumb arse penalties under no pressure is unbelievable - these guys are getting paid for this
The players aren't much better.

@antipodean lol the rules of rugby are fking inconsistent.
Its shocking.
Moody IMO should be a clear red card
Last week it shouldn't' have been
SRP need to sort this out
100% Vaa'i was dropping way more than the MP player tonight. It's not good enough and a decision like that will likely cost someone in the playoffs. All we ask for is consistency and we aren't getting it.
Don't mistake this for me agreeing with the decisions but if my memory serves me well the major difference between the two was last week it was alleged there was direct contact with the tackler's shoulder to the head. While it was acknowledged the runner was dipping it was cancelled out by the tackler applying force in an upwards motion. I guess they perceived this upward motion negated any mitigation.
