Good point, I guess the new unit in Sydney would be responsible, but since it is barely started I don't think they've changed any rules since SANZAAR

It is not an NZR Rule it is a SANZAAR rule, as it is their competition. And the rules are set, if you don't play before 1 April in the comp you can't play the finals - unless special circumstances.

Its a VG rule and it should be retained and followed. C4L mentioned Ardie and I agree. Bringing him back and dropping say Iose would undermine super rugby. Just when the crowds are coming back

I’ve always been a fan, but this is the first year I’ve thought he could be an All Black. A ten that can tackle is a novelty these days.
His kicking game has been awesome.

Excellent choice. I think he has to be very very close to an AB jersey - I'd actually like to see how he would go at that level given his body size and capability to cover 12.
My guess is that he is in competition with Havili for the inside back utility role. It will be interesting to see who they go with there.

We already know the answer
I think we do, but it's an interesting test. To be fair, if they pick Havili as a 12 who covers 10, maybe that's justified if they go with Dmac, Barrett, Perofeta.
I personally would select Plummer ahead of Perofeta as this stage though, and if they choose 3 10s, we don't really need extra 10 cover.
