    @voodoo

One more, for me, at least.

I think his injury issues are the bigger concern for me - but if they recruit well I’m interested to see whether they can give the Celtics a much harder time.

Not sure of you watched the last couple of games (yay for WFH!), but I’ve never seen such misleading stat lines. He looks genuinely terrified in the big moments, and Maxey wasn’t able to take over and save him today

Today he had 33 through 3 quarters then made 2 baskets in the 4th, repeatedly giving the ball up. Last game he had about 700 turnovers

The worst thing though is the laziness on defense. That play today with 3mins to go when he didn’t box out, leading to the offensive rebound then to OG’s dunk and the and-1 foul on Embiid for pushing him in the stomach (another non-basketball play) really summed it up.

Probably the crowds fault again eh?

Can’t stand him. But I did feel for the Sixers as they got a couple of tough calls down the stretch and I like Maxey, Hield, Oubre and Batum.

But Embiid gets found out (again) in the playoffs and what about the pathetic performances from $30m a season Tobias Harris. Useless.

Is Harris a tradable asset? Less valuable after this shit, but still could they wrap him up in a deal and try to get two or three good pieces?

I’m really interested looking at this off-season. ESPN does a great job breaking up sections so you can easily stay in touch with YouTube.

Looks like it’s all done and dusted, fuck off Harden and George!

I don’t think we’ll win the lot, I’m actually really stoked just to get to the next round.

Conference finals would be a very good result

Minny beats Denver to take a 1 game lead. We have a series!

Game 2 in Denver is going to be huge. Gobert and KAT have the size to trouble Jokic, and Ant Man is a machine. Denver will be hoping that Gobert doesn't play tonight, apparently he's questionable after just becoming a father for the first time

No Gobert, no problem! Minny so physical, DEN for very few easy shots, no in the paint looks. Jokic found it much harder to pass through the Wolves tall timber. Their attack was well balanced, I think Denver are in big trouble

Mavs leading with 3 left, but Luka looking really average in the last few minutes.

Hardaway Jr just made an important three.

Ankle plus Dort just wearing him down? Also being a bit fat maybe?

Bench did enough in that spurt to give them air.

Fun series, you'd think both these teams will be mincemeat for the Wolves though

It was - but it’s also a fucking debacle. The hack-a-someone rule is the dumbest thing in any sport that I can think of. I can’t believe that the NBA still allows it.

It’s an intentional foul, a non-basketball play - it should be a foul and possession from half court.

Ludicrous that it’s still this way, a massive blight on the game

I agree, but I would allow the team to choose the shooter when the refs decide there is an intentional foul.

Draft lottery happens, and confirmed the Basketball Gods hate Detroit. Lose 68 games in a season to get the 5th pick.

Atlanta get #1. And weirdly it is still predicted to be Sarr from the Perth Wildcats. I really wasn't all that impressed with him this year.

Spurs end up with 4th and 8th. Be interesting to see their mentality.

If Sarr is still the talk about no1, then it just goes to show that this draft class is weak, weak, weak. Definitely good enough as a mid lottery pick. Shows you want YouTube can do for you prospects, because this kid has plenty of pre-NBL video footage.

Next years draft class has better players right now than those that will feature this year. I’d take Cooper Flagg or Ron Harper’s son or there’s this Spanish kid Gonzalez right now ahead of any of the top prospects.

And congrats to the Hawks for snagging that number 1 pick for the first time in 50 years when they selected David Thompson. If they get a player even half as good as Skywalker, they will have done okay!
