The Crusaders have gone from having the best coach ever in super rugby to the worst coach ever.

How on earth did the Chiefs lose to this rabble??

I was expecting Beale to struggle. He played well. Plenty of comments out of the team about how much his chat is helping with defence and giving options to Donaldson etc

So take away your top 4 or so players and a team will drop from 1st (7 years running) to bottom?

    that's a little disingenuous

From the Super final last year, their entire starting tight 5 is either gone or has missed most/all of the season. Their 10 is gone. Their midfield is gone. Their left wing is gone. Their fullback hasn't got on the park. 10 of their starting 15. Of which all had been or were current test players. That's the very definition of being gutted.

The Crusaders lost most of those players at various points last season - and more, they were literally trawling through the club rugby scene for options, a 43 year old John Afoa was starting for them at the end of the season. And apart from the Chiefs they were winning and doing so convincingly.

The Crusaders have never missed a beat under Razor, just goes to show how good a coach he truly is. Results speak for themselves.

i have no idea what your point is, but i'll play your silly bloody game

Yes, they had a couple of games where they had back-up props, but most of their other guys were on deck. And they lost to the Hurricanes in in Rd 15 with what amounted to their finals team.
Those convincing underhanded wins were against the Waratahs and MP. Every other game in the last half they had a strong squad.
Are we trying to say the Crusaders didn't have good players? what are we doing here?
