Black Caps v South Africa

Henry really struggled early in his career when he was the cover bower and just got random tests here and there, never managed to find good rhythm. Probably got a little unlucky in that those tests also happened to be tough conditions, but also wasn't good enough in those games to force himself into the starting lineup.
I'm glad he's done well though. He's always looked so good domestically, I had always thought that with a decent run he'd find himself.
He also got tried as the third seamer behind Southee and Boult which doesn't really suit him.
Opening the bowling he has sixty wickets at 27.83. For the other 15 wickets he averages 69.93.

Amazing how that that works out really, Wagner has similar stats showing he is much better as the 4th seamer/second change than anywhere else.

I haven't been following, but why have these pricks sent park cricketers to play us?
TLDR:
Previous chairman of SA cricket stole their money, the IPL teams then bought SA T20 teams and want a return on their investment, therefore top SA players need to play in the SA T20 league.
Thanks mate

aka, SA scheduling stuffed up, scheduled a clash with T20 comp and NZ refused to shift the tour (not unreasonable given it's our summer and Aus are next). End result, contract signed that htey couldn't get out of ... and that means we get a C cricket team.

Excellent first class record but I thought with the three seamers being ensconced in the team and Jamieson emerging he’d run out of chances but he has come back and done brilliantly.
His stints in English county cricket for Somerset/Kent/Worcestershire has helped him mature in to a decent bowler these days

Another 50 for Kane.
On the radio they were discussing whether we should fiddle our order. The rationale was to let Phillips/Blundell or even Mitchell have a go might give them some time in the middle. Ravindra does not need any more time in the middle or so the argument goes.
SA just burn a review on an LBW which hit so far outside the line it might have been outside a second set of stumps.

Makes sense to me if we even bother. I'd say hit out and put them in before end of day, but we're probably past that now.

What a privilege it is to watch Kane play
