Is Nathan-Wong coming back to 7s?

    Back next year.

    And Fitzpatrick?

She played for the Development squad in Brisbane but looked slow.

Much improved from the BFs in the final, unlucky to not get an upset, Australia just better.

Seeing Hirini in a knee brace didn't look encouraging. Kelsey Teneti must be over in Dubai as well as she was shown on the TV coverage.

BF7s seem to be playing all their games half asleep. Something's not right. They don't seem happy.

Something going on ay. One of the great things about watching the "sevens sisters" was how much fun they had. Seemed to be missing. Maybe they are missing Bunting but he has been gone for a while. Could be just first tournie blues before they bond again. Who knows.

Was nice to watch some rugby (of sorts) without some twat intervening and saying that we need to check some trivia from yesterday and disallow the try, or overturn some scintillating passage of play. For the most part if someone got the ball over the line, the team got some points.

6 on 7 is still a long two minute watch though.

Room for optimism given how easily they gave up tries with some woeful individual defence.

Not sure what the ref saw at the end. Looked like a legit tackle on Portia who releases, gets up and is clearly tackled from an offside player.

There's an offside line at the tackle now. Thanks to the Italy vs England fiasco. Once offside there's only a few ways to be onside, none of which eventuated.

A 37-5 win for the BF7s over GB. GB has really fallen away.

Well this is just strange, having main games on two different pitches at the same time. And to top it off, we're wearing white, against the red of Canada.

Probably a good thing. Wearing white and playing like we surrender. Canada leading 14-7 at halftime.

Lots of stupid offloads and disorganised play.

I don't know what the fuck is going on, but we just put Rush up from the kick off and it sailed over him by a fair few metres. Sums up the state of play.

    Here goes the comeback...

No, instead some newby offloads it in the tackle, to Canada and they get a penalty.
