Yes, it would be great as Seb Calder is just a journeyman at NPC level. Franks could bring his experience to the likes of Newell and Williams.
Frank's presence at the Canes coincided with the rise of Lomax...
Lomax was already on that path at the Landers. Canes set him back..

Very good signing and quite surprising as I thought he had gone to Japan. We have definitely brought in some experience for next season with Crotty and Mataele coming in. Have a feeling Rob Penney seems like an interim coach, more than a long term replacement. We will wait and see, I always felt the most likely replacement for Razor was Goodman.

Never right off the Crusaders you never know.
But it's ok to wrong them? Ok, good to know!

Pretty tough gig. Come replace a coach who won 7 straight titles and never lost a knockout game. Still - he knows what he's in for and probably his last shot at a Super head coaching role.
Ellison or Goodman taking over in 2 years time makes sense.

Is it a very good signing? A prop well past his best. Feels more like a last man standing selection. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

I’m intrigued at how mobile he is these days considering he looked like a statue from Easter Island last time I saw him play

@Billy-Tell feel like it's probably the best signing they could make - load of young props leading the charge for him to pass on some knowledge, skill and ethic to - with the added bonus of knowing you've got a solid backup should injury hit.
